Cute little restaurant. The atmosphere takes you back to the 60s as they play golden oldies music. Our waitress was awesome and attentive. The food was not my fav though. It is only hot dogs and sandwiches but the flavor just wasn’t there for me but I also am a chili dog snob lol. It’s a nice place for nostalgia but if you want decent food, I would try somewhere else. BUT get your sweet treat here and check out the little store they have connected.

So the family went to the town of Brevard and ended up at the ice cream parlor for lunch. The service was good and the food was amazing! (I forgot to take pictures of the meals) I the Carolina Cavier. The wife had a tuna melt, daughter had the grilled ham and cheese. The boy had the Hot Diggity Dog. All of which we would gladly get again. We also had dessert as well. I had the Rocky Malted Mountain, the daughter had White squirrel and the boy had the Devil’s Courthouse. No complaints from anyone. Very good.

We wanted a decent, affordable place to eat and apparently everyone else did too! The place was pretty busy. We had to wait for about 20 minutes, but that was fine because we got to check out some of the unique little shops. Our waiter was super friendly and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I got the tuna sandwich, which was pretty good with the brisket chili. Which was also good, but a little spicy! I also got a vanilla biscoff butterscotch milkshake. Yummm. They also have a cute little souvenir/gift shop next door which was super affordable as well and I got some cute stickers. 10/10. Highly recommended!

We stopped in as a family on a Monday afternoon while passing through the town, enjoying the sights and nostalgic feel. We slipped into the diner and had a bite to eat. I had the Ruben-style Grilled Rachel sandwich with gluten free bread and a side of chips. We all enjoyed our meals from burgers to tuna to soup to dogs. We finished off the dinner with shakes, enjoying a banana and peanut butter shake that is fit for the king.

My friend and I stopped to enjoy a malt and read while friends got a pedicure. The sweet treat was nice on a very hot day. Half the place was closed for a private event so it was chaotic. But it was nice. Cute little place. They have ice cream spots so you don’t take up counter space or tables, which was nice.

What a time! My wife and I wanted to check this place out a year or so ago and seen it was closing for good, but lo and behold here it is! Turns out it was bought and the new owners relaunched it and is keeping it going! We were stoked to get here and check it all out. This is like an old 50-60’s diner and the food was killer!! My wife had the Carolina burger, and a butter pecan turtle milkshake to which after they filled her glass they brought the steel cup they make it in so she can have the rest that was left over! It was GOOD! I had the pimento cheese angus burger and a….wait for it.. CHOCOLATE EGG CREAM! Just like I remember being a kid!! It was SO tasty! We will be coming back and bringing my mom and her parents for sure!

Rocky’s is one of those charming, nostalgic spots that instantly brings back warm memories of days gone by. This authentic soda shop from the 1940s is the perfect place for a tasty breakfast. The French toast, drizzled with peanut butter, topped with crumbled bacon, and finished off with maple syrup, is both indulgent and absolutely delicious. Enjoy a cup of Pisgah Roasters coffee to go with it – they’re always happy to top you off with a refill! The simple lunch fare of sandwiches and hot dogs perfectly matches the nostalgic vibe, and the chocolate ice cream soda instantly took me back to my childhood. I also picked up a bag of beans next door in their adjoining gift shop to send home with my friend visiting from Toronto. The owners couldn’t be nicer and more attentive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun, tasty, and cozy spot!

If you love the soda shops when you were a kid. You are going to love this little grill and soda shop. My daughter loved the chilli dog and the burgers were also good. The milk shakes were great and well made. As you wait you can shop around the store for some unique items. Loved the hometown atmosphere.

Not a ton of vegetarian options, but the soup of the day (Pumpkin and Butternut squash bisque) was very good. They also have tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches and a bean-burger. If you eat fish, the tuna fish salad sandwich was very good on toasted rye. Coleslaw was okay.
