Papi is a very nice Italian restaurant, we ordered the tomato soup, which was light and fresh. For main course we had the pesto pasta, the pesto was great and a pizza with burrata that was made perfectly!
Over all the food is amazing, it’s apparent that they use high quality and fresh produce.
The service was not very good though..

We had a fantastic experience at Papi in Heidelberg! Our server, Erol, took great care of us from the start — we were seated right away and service was attentive without any delays. The pizza came out quickly and was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The ambience is warm and welcoming, making the whole dining experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great pizza and great service in Heidelberg

We visited after lunch rush and we’re seated right away without having to wait. The server kindly explained the menu to us. The tomato sauce pasta was average, but the pizza and the other pasta(don’t remember the name of dish) we’re really delicious. My girls(ages 6 and 9) enjoyed the food very much.

One of your best choices around Heidelberg center, admittedly a bit expensive. We (a couple) reserved online a couple of hours before going on a Sunday evening. We were greeted almost immediately and were asked for a couple of minutes of patience to be seated. We got two papi-spritz (very good and light for almost € 10) asked for an other table and eventually got one before the starter came. The place was packed and all personnel were very busy but very polite and helpful. They apologized for the delay of the starter, which was a delicious burrata caprese (around € 20). The main course were also very delicious: I had the grilled prawns (almost € 37) and my girlfriend the beef salad (almost € 33). I also had one glass of red Barbera d’Alba (almost € 8) which was also very good. The menus were printed and very well made with Napoli (and Maradona!) as a central theme. In total we were very happy with everything and we enjoyed our evening very much. So, highly recommended if you don’t mind the prices.

Cash only but still really delicious. We got pizza and bread with a cheese and fruit and veggie board. The service was spectacular, food amazing, and atmosphere great. The only downside was a bee that was pressuring us.

The ladies , the only ladies that work there , tell us that , they cannot serve for nine persons .
We ask we can sit in 2 separate table .
But She still doesnt want to serve us and ask us to go with unfriendly behaviour .
My 65 years parents and 73 years father in law just want to eat.
I ask the reasons , she cannot give us the logic reason . She only said that we cannot eat there .
Anw , we are coming from Indonesia , yes we are Asia .
Lady, you are beautiful , but your attitude and behaviour are so worst .
Shame on you guys, please dont judge the book buy its cover . Thank you.

Nice location with great seated view of the cathedral and market center. Good appetizers and pasta. I gotta say though, 5 stars to the woman and guys working here. After we ate at the restaurant, we called and asked if they could do delivery to a clinic in the mountains.
They went out of their way to purchase the right metal tupperware and actually completed the delivery! Really shocked us at the clinic and we’re really impressed and thankful. Did not expect it to happen. Seafood pasta and soup we had was really good too!
