The burgers are as they claim, great! The Cowboy sized burger is a mouth full, and a delicious mouth full at that.
I liked their wings too. I have only had Mango Habanero sauce, it packs more heat that at most other places. Good portion sizes, friendly staff, nice spot to watch sports… especially football.

If you’re working south of the river and your stomach starts growling louder than a pump at 2,000 psi, Old 85 Bar is the move.
It’s the kind of place where the parking lot’s full of pickups, the coffee is strong enough to restart a dead battery, and somebody at the bar has already claimed your seat before you walk in.
The Cowgirl Burger is my usual. Solid. Dependable. Gets the job done without drama. The Cowboy Burger? That thing is massive. A full blown prairie event stacked between two buns.
If you ask the difference, some seasoned philosopher at the bar will lean back, squint at you, and say, “Well, the cowgirl’s pink inside… and the cowboy is…” then he’ll trail off with a grin that tells you this conversation is about to leave the PG-13 zone.
Good food. Big portions. Small town humor included free of charge.
Old 85 isn’t fancy. It’s better. It’s where lunch feels earned.

Absolutely the best bar and grill for miles. The breakfast is amazing and I highly recommend their expresso martinis and Ceasars. Very laid back and the servers are great. The owners are fantastic and I cant wait till they get the coffee shop up.and running ;P

I had a hair appointment next door but was hungry so I went into the bar and grill and ordered their tater tot taco salad. HOLY MOLY, it was delicious! I usually don’t finish my meals but I could not stop eating this. The tater tots were perfectly brown and crispy and the meat was seasoned perfectly…. throw in the diced onions, tomatoes, black olives, jalapenos and sour cream and it was heaven in your mouth! Service was also wonderful! I highly recommend taking the drive, visiting Alexander and eating at the bar and grill

The only place in town serving food after 3 pm these days. Menu is good sized all things considered. Burgers are wonderful. Prime rib Friday nights.
