What a great place to enjoy and outdoor meal in the lovely Alaskan air. But what made it even more enjoyable was the owner, bob. This man is full of stories and will keep you laughing. The food was just great fun stop off the cruise ship.

We went here for lunch while on vacation. The owner was friendly and made great recommendations. My parents got the fish and chips, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. I got the Hot Pan burger which had just the right amount of spice! All of the portions were generous. It was my dad’s birthday, and the owner surprised us with fresh, homemade cinnamon rolls – FANTASTIC! I’m so glad we came here – it was a highlight of our trip to Skagway. It’s not easy to see from the street – but definitely worth the effort to find this place when you’re in town.

Had the bbq pulled pork sandwich. The pork perfect and the bbq sauce had a nice flavor not too sweet. My husband had fresh halibut fish and chips. He said best fish he has ever had. The man who runs the place is very friendly and service was fast. If you are looking for a quick lunch this is the place.

My favorite place to get a burger in Skagway. Caribou burger, to be exact. Kind of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, and the owner closes up early if there aren’t any customers, but if you manage to catch it while it’s open I would highly recommend!

Hidden gem on Bway, down an alley under I think a Bazzaar sign. Owner and staff super friendly, service fast, food delicious! We were off a cruise ship, like thousands of others there, he found seats for the 10 of us outside in his unique appealing space. Caribou burger was very tasty, 1st time eating that for 5 of us NYers. We also had pasta, ribs, and fish — all very tasty & fresh. Topped it all off with mouth watering just baked cinnamon rolls.

Reccomended by a local. Best excursion meal on our cruise. The carabou burger is really great and the chili is a good comfort food in this cute town. Owner is fun and down for a laugh. Really good experience.
