Amazing authentic Mexican food. Everyone was very friendly. They offer lots of seafood options! We got a fish taco, shrimp taco, steak taco, pork taco and chicken nachos. Everything was great!! We can’t wait to return to try more items off the menu.

Really chill place. Food is fantastic. Amazing margaritas and cocktails. A Lil pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Lots of variety in the food, been here 2 times, most recently ordered a seafood boil awesome stuff. The customer service is not the most attentive but they are nice and friendly.

Wow! What a Mexican Gem! First of all, exceptional customer service. Second of all, best Piña Colada I’ve had in a while, transported me to Can Cun! I had the Camaraones a la Diabla 10/10. My husband had fish tacos and he said they were delicious. I highly recommend Zocalo! If you have been looking for authentic Mexican food, come here!

Highly recommend! I’ve tried a different dish every time I’ve come and have loved every one of them. Pozole, steak enchiladas, and chapuzon have been my favorite. Pedro has been our server every time and has been wonderful. Delicious authentic Mexican food (my Mexican boyfriend agrees)

Tacos are great! Definitely worth getting the pollo and the pastor tacos. The red sauce that comes with it is amazing as well. Burrito was so so therefore I don’t recommend it. Might as well get tacos for the money. Ordered on GrubHub for pickup and was ready in 12 minutes!

Tasty food and fast service that for the most part, seems to be marred by the location and looks from the outside. I was searching around for a good Mexican restaurant to bring my family since the last one we went to has become very popular.
There is fairly limited parking from the front entering in, and from the adjacent businesses, it gives off a negative vibe that this restaurant might not be very clean. From how everything was set up to be, I came in here disheartened, and walked out vindicated. I can’t wait to bring my brother here, since it’s closer to our home & cheaper.
The chicken chimichanga isn’t really for my tastes, but the beef fajita and shrimp were perfect. The tortilla soup in the beginning was light and tasty. This place on the inside gives off a strong party vibe. Dishes can range from 15 ~ 100 dollars in here, so you can get a hearty dish for yourself, or a party platter for those celebratory football matches.
We’ll be back for sure.

Ordered Tacos from GrubHub, originally expected 39 tacos from the taco order, but misunderstood menu options. Their fish & chicken tacos has a tangy sweet sauce that meshes well with the shredded lettuce and the sauces were on .

Food was incredible, prepared fresh, presentation was impressive. Best salsa Verde. Everything is cooked to order, good portions. Best kept secret tucked away in Vernon hills on Butterfield road in a strip mall. We will definitely be back.

I ordered first time everything tasted too salty or barely flavored at all. Chimichanga was inedible, quesadillas were flat and salty with a weird tasting cheese- will never go back

The drinks were absolutely on point—well-crafted and full of flavor. The food was fantastic overall, with fresh ingredients and great seasoning. However, the shrimp was a disappointment, as it wasn’t properly cleaned. That aside, the rest of the meal was excellent, and the atmosphere made for a great dining experience. Would definitely come back, but I hope they take more care with the shrimp next time!
