As long as I can remember, I’ve been a fan of Yoshinoya there’s nothing else that could compare to this franchise. But then again the people behind the counter is what ruined it for the chain with their sob faces, bad attitudes and unprofessional behavior. I met my wife today at 8400 Sunland Blvd. in Sun Valley California. We both were craving Yoshinoya. We get there and was greeted by Cassandra with very unprofessional behavior no smile no eye contact. Basically I had to drag a conversation out of her, but I remain calmed as for my food driving from Ventura County to Sunland. California is about an hour away. That trip definitely made us one of use the restroom when I asked her if I could use the restroom, she said yes, and my wife wanted to use the restroom as well. She replied. She’s gonna have to wait and use the men’s room. I felt a little disrespected, but I went along with it due to the fact that area has challenging customers when my food was ready. Cassandra never announced it just left my food unattended in the counter and I had to walk up and I seen my order when I got home we were having dinner and I ordered half habanero and half traditional she put all habanero as if she did this on purpose and it was extremely spicy for me. I will never visit this location again, especially if Cassandra is behind the counter Yoshinoya you guys are the best and I know you guys could afford to hire more professional people times are tough, but don’t let these disrespectful employees get the best out out of you. I appreciate you for feeding me and my family throughout the years. Love you guys.

I want to give a special shout out to Maria for being phenomenal with customer service and the people that were working with her today July 11th Friday hands down she knows what she is doing and she does care about customer satisfaction this is how a combo XL is truly supposed to look like make sure you get what you pay the other manager she’s not so helpful and the other shift so beware and make sure your order looks right

Soda area always reeks of raw sewage. Thought it was just a fluke, but after a couple visits its clear the owner doesn’t see it as worth fixing.
I hope he knows sewer gas is actually way more dangerous than just a bad smell, it can infect everything around and is also flammable. The employees having to work in that environment daily is sad.

The Yoshinoya beef bowl tasted great! Super tasty. Absolutely delicious. The clam chowder was expensive than I expected. Visiting Yoshinoya on Sunday was busier than I thought. I suggest I’ll definitely come back again.

This place has really really gone downhill in 2021. Looks like ownership changed and the quality left with the last owners. Large beef bowl is mostly onions and the beef is gritty.

Saturday i went with my son in law doing car repairs. so he takes me to this other yoshi on figueroa and 32nd near UCLA so he ordered me habanero teriyaki and it was great. LONG STORY SHORT So i decided to try the one near my house in sun valley ca. This place is peaceful very good environment also asked for the habanero sause it was good til i got to the steamed beggies they felt like they have been steamed more than 5 times other than that. they treat you good big smile the cash register girl very attentive. overall food tasted great.
