Popular for a reason, this place is lively and happily buzzing. They serve solid Italian food alongside fun cocktails. The lights are intentionally dim, setting the mood, while the staff are humorous and warm. We tried the BBQ chicken pizza. It was soft, fresh, and generously topped with perfectly cooked chicken – no dry bites. The rigatoni carbonara had peas and cream doing a silky, swoon-worthy dance. The pasta felt indulgent without being heavy. The cocktail Love and Chaos lives up to its name, ginger beer with a zing. It’s noisy in the best way, with a mix of tables and cozy booths, and old-school lamps that add character. This place has the kind of vibe that makes you linger longer than planned. One of those dinners that leaves you smiling on the way out.

This bar is my go-to late-night spot! The pasta is absolutely delicious (especially their off-menu pink sauce pasta, which is creamy, flavorful, and totally addictive). I also love that they have amazing non-alcoholic drink options, so everyone can enjoy the night. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, perfect for unwinding with friends after a long day. It’s one of those hidden gems that feels special every time you go!

After a show, tried Formosa but it was almost 11 and their kitchen was closed and we were too hungry. The pointed us across the street, looked a little dank from the outside tbh, but took a chance. The place was lit and on a Tuesday! Great seats, great waitress, just dim enough to have a great vibe, and the food was good!

I visited Hollywood for the third time this year in the last week of November, that is, the whole last week, arriving from Las Vegas, where I live, as I am Italian but I work as an international luxury car dealer in Nevada in the United States. I must say that the food is quite good, I went to this place every night, except Thursday when it was closed. I also had pizza, tiramisu, etc. several times. Everything was good, but unfortunately I have to say with regret that the only people I found serious regarding the staff were only the one I think is the owner, that is, a gentleman more or less as tall as me, about 1.80 m, with glasses, who always presided over the entrance, and also most of the waiters and bartenders. Unfortunately, on the last evening, that is, last Saturday, at the entrance there was another bald man with no hair who did not have much education, as he turned to laugh for no reason in my direction, making undue confidences, etc. Secondly, the girl always at the entrance (ethnicity Portuguese) with curly hair who takes orders at the tables should learn a little respect towards people, as I noticed very well the faces he made, the behavior, looking even from afar and talking to other people nodding to me etc… Really bad situation, you need to respect the people who come to spend money in your restaurant, these things do not happen in Italy…! Finally, it must also be said that the last night the place was full of drunk and rude people. There were girls staggering around drunk who came at me several times, and in addition another tall black guy together with another who was with him (a friend) with a hat together with two girls too. They were creating chaos and disturbance to everyone, even to all the girls who passed in front of them, almost harassing them. And the security of the place was non-existent. The tall black guy was very drunk, he was shouting and swearing and he also started talking to me very vulgarly and even hugging me (like the very drunk and high person he was) … In addition, I also heard other people who were eating in the lower part of the place who, as I passed in front of them, started making jokes about Italians, pizza, etc. Laughing for no reason and like truly low-level people…! The place is also acceptable, but there is too much rudeness and lack of respect..!

I love this place—the waitstaff is super friendly and always make it better than it actually is! The atmosphere is incredible and really unique as it exudes pure Hollywood-Rocker chic… the Drinks are strong and the Bartenders are tough! Now about the food…. It’s spotty and uneven and really dependent on what you order— so much of it is really good and so much of it is really bad! Yet I keep going back because it’s one of those joints where you just can’t care that much! I’ve had some great steaks here! I’ve had some great sides! The spaghetti and meatballs is fantastic! The calamari sucks, the artichoke shouldn’t be on the menu, and there’s no reason that they can’t make good pizza because they can but they don’t! It’s sort of a big deal to get a reservation here when it really shouldn’t be— to be blunt, when I call and get a guy on the phone— it’s usually the same guy and I think he’s a manager or maître D, he always makes me feel special gives me a table acts like he’s moving some things around and look forward to seeing me… but somehow this is pretty consistent, when I get one of the women on the phone— they’re absolutely sold out and tell me to book 2 weeks in advance! When that happens, I usually just go in then within 20 minutes I sit down with a table! Some people might think that’s cool. I think they would do well to cut the attitude. They also don’t have a decent baguette, whichever Italian restaurant should have and they could easily enough accomplish this. Jones needs a better identity and Jones needs to understand who they are. Yeah they’re a Hollywood rocker bar that serves food into the very wee hours. But they also play it off as a little romantic fancy Schmanski, dark red leather booth restaurant…. I think they’re on to something with the latter. They just need to pay a little more attention to the food and menu. Despite all this negativity.— I will soon be back. I need this place a couple times a month! If you haven’t been, I highly recommend it.

Hip spot with good food and all the vibes

Make a reservation or grab a spot at the bar and wait with a nice drink.

We walked in and didn’t wait long but we came early in the evening!

Thin crust pizza was amazing, the pasta sauce was perfect and their bread with marinara sauce is super unique and flavorful.

The deco and ambience is perfect for friends or a date!

I’m so lucky that this is my neighborhood spot! It is a good vibe and a good meal every time. I love the steak and artichoke salad- if I’m not eating it, I’m craving it. I also love their $12 glass of Cab. I recommend a reservation or arriving right at 7pm opening- sitting at the bar to order food/drinks or always a great option. Everyone who works here is so nice! Special shoutout to my favorite server Sara. Sunday through Thursday 10:30pm to 1:30am they have a special happy hour called Beggars Banquet with great deals!

Back here for the last time. This was my 3rd or 4th visit here in past 2-3 months.
Place was packed so went for the self serve experience. Ordered two pasta dishes, the rigatoni was very small and even with the bread was not filling. Not going for this over prices good again. Downgrading to 3 of 5.
Stopped by for dinner, the steak was good but needed a few servings of salt to be good. That was a first for me (adding salt). Pasta was good but the cold cuts platter was below average and disappointing. Desert was good.
In all, I expected more, this was my second visit to Jones and for the reputation and price.
Service was good.
