We had such a lovely evening at Bosfa Italian Restaurant—a place that instantly makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff? Absolutely top-notch. Attentive, friendly, and professional—they made us feel like we were longtime friends just coming back for another great night.
From the appetizers and cocktails to the unique pizza and flavorful main dishes, every bite was a treat. I forgot to take pictures of the entrees (always a good sign!) because we were too busy enjoying the incredible live music from a very talented singer who added such a special touch to the night.
The space is comfortable, welcoming, and has plenty of parking—which makes it even easier to relax and enjoy.

Located in a small strip mall in Old Tappan, NJ, Bosfa Restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The service is consistently excellent, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests and make every dining experience enjoyable. While the restaurant offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for dining in, takeout is just as impressive — something I personally order. I’ve never served their food to a guest without receiving compliments on both the quality and taste. From their pizza to my favorite octopus and grilled vegetable appetizers, and weekly specials every dish is flavorful, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. Highly recommend!

A friend and I dined here on a Friday night. While the food was very good and our server (not sure of his name) was very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere left something to be desired. It was a stark black and white 80s art deco type, the back of my chair was broken, there was a crooner singing up front which was not our thing, though understandably it may be desirable for other people, and the acoustics were loud. All in all we would definitely get takeout for the food, but most likely would not dine in again unless the interior was updated.

Had dinner here the other night and it was delicious. Service could be better but a second waiter definitely made our experience worth it. Food was on point, my steak salad was perfect. My daughters pasta was incredible. Ambiance is relaxing and comforting, there was live performance and cant wait to go back and try the brick oven pizza. Bar was full so I’ll def be trying thheir drinks as well.

My siblings and I booked Bosfa for our parents anniversary. The service was amazing, the food as well. They allowed us to bring our own centerpieces for the tables we would be using. Everything was soooo good and fresh. From the Hostess to the waiters and bartenders I can’t say enough. Highly recommend.
