I’ve definitely had better. While it wasn’t entirely terrible, it was exactly good either. It was….sufficient. Wasn’t close to hitting the spot. The ribs were not much to write home about and the boudin disappointed. It was entirely tasteless, really dry and I could purchase better at the store. The brisket was hella thin and dry. I guess two stars since I could finish it but definitely one time only- it’s a NO for me. Definitely not for the price. Clean with friendly staff tho.
Update: this boudin was absolutely store bought and not their recipe or their work. That’s infringement.

Obsessed! Faithfully ended up buying food from this location since June 2025, brisket loaded potato (great), desserts (great), plates (great), pickles (great) almost 4 to 5 times monthly. Well they recently went up on the potato. I recently purchased an order of pickles. I can tell something has changed in the product quality of their pickles. I was unable to chew through the hull of the pickles, never have had this happened before until this recent order. Overall food is delicious! Maybe I just had a bad batch this time. I will try one more time to compare. But if I get the same results. I will no longer be eating here. Because if they are going to start with serving fake food as other places. I cannot spend my money here. I’m picky!!!!!

My husband and I recently visited this restaurant and it was amazing. The food was fabulous. We both got a fully loaded baked potato…I got the pork, he got the brisket on top. Potato was cooked perfectly. It was so big, we took half home for a second meal. Can’t wait to go back and try the ribs next time! Oh…and very clean restaurant…big plus in my books. Highly recommend this place!

Just went last week for the first time. I had a chopped beef sandwich. So much meat, it was two meal, very delicious with hand cut seasoned fries! 10 out of 10. Very friendly and clean staff. We will be trying baked potatoes this week. Loved it!

Me and my sister found this place on google after work. First impressions, the place was very clean. The two young ladies at the front were friendly and got our order out quickly. We both ordered a potato with brisket, side of potato salad and Macaroni, including two drinks. The potato was soft, and the brisket was seasoned. Also they were really generous with the toppings. The Mac was classic, but the potato salad was a bit bland. But overall 9/10! I’m not sure why someone complained about the portions and the price. Size of the potato was huge and price reasonable for BBQ. Expect to spend about $25 per person not including tip. Will be coming back for the potato!

I don’t know how this place is getting 4.6 out of five stars. The food was mediocre at best. I got the brisket and quarter chicken. The brisket was tough and dry and the quarter chicken was moist, however unflavorful.
There are better BBQ places in Houston. It’s okay to skip this one.

The food was great and the staff was incredibly friendly. $1 beers for the Astros games as well! The brisket was the best. The Turkey was very good and the ribs were solid. My main complaint is that you can’t get half racks of ribs or ribs by the pound. The Mac and cheese was also good. Everything is made with a pepper based fry rub that was really good. I bought everything by the pound
