Everything was delicious the Caesar salad was just a bit warm from being packed with the hot meals. The coconut cake for dessert was outstanding.

The Edison Grill in Harwinton is an excellent choice for a casual meal. We experienced fast and friendly service, and the portion sizes were quite decent. The food was truly delicious; our burgers and the turkey club were all cooked to perfection. The Southwest Burger deserves a special mention for its perfectly spicy chipotle aïoli. While the cocktail, beer, and wine selection is on the expensive side, the quality of the food makes this spot highly recommended.

I went here with my family to try out the margarita flight that one of us saw on social media. The margaritas were phenomenal and decorated very well to fit the theme. The restaurant is decorated tastefully to emphasize the Edison name. I ordered calamari and salmon and both were very well prepared. The salmon was top notch and some of the best I’ve had! I ordered it with risotto and roasted Brussels and both tasted amazing. Looking forward to going back here again!

The Edison Grill has been around for years, but I always seemed to drive by at the wrong time – either too early or after they were closed. Tonight everything lined up, and I finally stopped in for dinner.

We got there just early enough to grab a table without a wait (there was a line by the time we left). Food was excellent all around. The crispy Brussels sprouts with a spicy Asian sauce and feta were incredible. My sweet potato fries, served with a drizzle on the side, were probably the best I’ve had – and I don’t usually even like sweet potato fries, but the waitress recommended them and she was 100% right.

The sandwiches were spot-on, the tenders were crispy and flavorful, and the Key lime pie… well, my daughter said it’s worth stopping in just for that. She planned to take it home, but it didn’t make it out the door – gone before I could even snap a picture of more than the empty container.

Tried it here for the first time with two girlfriends of mine! The honey bourbon wings with the waffle crunch pieces were so good! I was shocked on how addicting the flavor was. I order the Edison’s Grilled Chicken Panini. It was okay. The flavor was just way too sweet for my palette but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the panini had a beautiful crunch. Food came out quick and the cocktails were yummy! I got the raspberry coconut mojito.

Went today @3pm. Nice and quiet at this time of day. Had the artichoke appetizer and it was absolutely to die for. Main dish was the truffle burger with truffle fries. Cooked to perfection. (Forgot to take a pic). Drink of choice was the toasted marshmallow old fashion. Wish I got the waitresses name. She was so pleasant and attentive. Can’t say enough about this visit.

We were a party of 4 for drinks, appetizers, and dinner. The cocktails were perfectly made. The appetizers (calamari and artichoke hearts) were very good. For dinner we had patty melts and fish tacos. All were delicious.
Our server (Katie) was outstanding.
The only negative is that it was extremely loud in there, making it difficult to have a conversation.
It all came to $65 per person after tip.

3/2025 update. Went Friday night at 5:30 and was seated right away. Wait staff is always friendly and quick to serve. I had the biggest, best crab cake I have ever had. It was a special that night. Usually they are smaller than an english muffin. This one was hanging off the sides of the bread. Great flavor with just a little spice. Full crab flavor. Best I ever had. Hope to see it again on the menu.
Would like to leave a new review each time we go but only allows me to update the last one. Food and service was good this time. To be fair we went on st. Patrick day and I think they were overwhelmed. Corned beef was very good but the cabbage was cold and the glazed carrots were not glazed. I ordered cauliflower but got mashed. They corrected the side. Still a solid choice. We come back every 3 months or so. It’s a small-ish place, so waits are often required. Staff has always been friendly. Solid choice in the area.

The place looks great! The staff are friendly, and it is clean and parking is nice. The reason i only give 4 stars is because the food. It looks awesome, but when you go to take a bite it falls a little flat. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. The best part was our appetizers, they were amazing. I did enjoy the experience, and I do recommend the appetizers. Just be prepared for a little blandness in the main course. I have included pictures and hope this helps make your decision.
