I tried this restaurant on the recommendation of hotel staff. It definitely did not disappoint.
It’s very centrally located within walking distance from the hotels and across the street from the state fairgrounds.
I had the Mexican style (lime and cilantro) fajitas and man were they delicious!! As with almost all my reviews, it’s the staff who make or break the customer service experience. The staff here are fantastic – helpful, friendly and genuinely appreciative of their customers.
To say that I recommend a visit is an understatement. It does however, need to be said. Some of the best food and people I’ve had and met in a very long time.

We went here for dinner while in town for work. The food was ok but not something I would go back for. They served chips and salsa to start. Not a lot of flavor in the salsa. Fresh though.
I had the street tacos with pork, fish and shrimp. The shrimp was great, the other two were ok. I liked the cilantro and onion. Nice fresh touch.

Guys, this is the best mid level Mexican restaurant. Their tacos are amazing. I love to visit this place again. Their stake tacos and shrimp tacos dinner are like $12 dollars. You will get 3 tacos as Mexican , American styles whatever you like. They do have a small bar and food looks,smells and tastes authentic. I ordered stake taco dinner is amazing.

Quiet on a Monday night. Ordered a steak quesadilla a beer, was very good. Then noticed a banana margarita on their special board. Excellent. Overall a very nice experience. Plan on going back if I want some sit-down Mexican.

Was out doing errands with my wife in the very late afternoon. We stopped in as friends of ours rave about Senor Sol. Well let me tell you it was extremely good. $3 Margaritas for happy hour. The food was excellent and our server was great. I would give 10 stars if I could. Great place

Skirt steak is bomb. Fajitas are good. Service is good. Prices are fair. I’ve eaten here a few times over the last couple years and it’s always been good. I’d give it a 4.5 stars because I think it could be a little better food (rice & beans), but it’s too good for 4 stars so I rounded up to 5. Will be back.

Decided to stop here after attending an event at the State Fair Park. We were seated immediately and were brought our drinks within a few minutes. Our food was brought out quickly and it was still hot. I got chicken fajitas and was a little disappointed that there wasn’t more flavor to the chicken. It was still good though! Also the salsas that were served with the chips were nice. Could use more kick in the liquid salsa but good otherwise. I really liked the fresh cucumber salsa. Very reasonably priced and would recommend. Parking IS available in the back lot.

Get there before 6pm on Saturday when less crowded. Had a banana margarita that was actually pretty good. Hubby not a fan of spicy food and he was very satisfied with a steak quesadilla. Friendly attentive waitress.
