Thrilled to have a Colony Grill here in Shelton! Love that it has made it to our neighborhood ❤️ We are faithful patrons of the Fairfield, Milford and Arlington VA locations. Shelton location has a nice sized parking lot, and a decent size restaurant, seems a bit smaller than Milford location – but a nice sized bar and take out area. Hostesses are VERY nice as well as our waitress. We had about a 10 minute wait and seated pretty quickly.
ONE CONCERN… Our seat was was located at a spot that the sun was beaming!…and shining in and it really hurt my eyes,it was hard to ignore – and I did share concerns… they need some tinting windows or shades for those moments as the sun was beaming in and is makes is difficult to enjoy dining experience.
Pizza is good as in other locations, but not quite the same, guess they are still getting it just right as a newer spot. My cheese was on the dry side, and my son’s was very oily – but overall pretty good. My nephew said his Margherita was perfect. We will definitely be back and expect to be regulars. We absolutely love Colony Grille

So happy that there is a Colony closer to home now. Pizza was great, a bit crispier than the other locations, but still the same taste you’d expect.
I’m knocking off one star because we saw a staff member cleaning a table next to us and the he placed the parmesan cheese containers upside down in used drink glasses as a way to carry them back into the kitchen. Gross! I really hope that isn’t the norm. Please address this.

As a big Colony fan I had to stop by to try the new Shelton location! As always the pizza was amazing but our waitress Marisa was what set this visit apart from the rest! She was so friendly and welcoming from the start, and you could tell she really knows what she’s doing! She gave great recommendations, kept our drinks filled, and made sure everything came out perfect. The place was beyond busy and Marisa stayed on top of everything and still made us feel taken care of, it never felt rushed or chaotic! The pizza was great, but she’s definitely the reason we’ll be coming back to this location!

I don’t see the rave unless you like eating cardboard. The crust reminds me of making my pies in my Susie bake oven. No flavor and chewy flour. I bought two pies last night. Over priced and I tossed one pizza out. Why waste added calories on something not worth it.

My family and I had a fantastic experience at Colony Grill, and a big part of that was thanks to our waiter, Steven. From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, funny, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and made sure everything came out perfectly.
Steven’s big smile, positive attitude, and professionalism really stood out. He handled everything smoothly, despite when it got busy, and made us feel like valued guests. Service like his is what keeps people coming back. Highly recommend asking for Steven next time you’re there!

We just visited this restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved it! The service was excellent — our waiter was amazing, friendly, and constantly checking in to make sure everything was perfect.
We ordered three pizzas:
• Cheese & cheese with sausage
• Hot oil with onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms
• Pepperoni
All three were incredible. We recently moved to the neighborhood, and it feels great to have found a family-friendly spot where we can enjoy a delicious dinner together. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

I’ve been a patron of Colony Grill for over 14 years, and the Shelton location absolutely lives up to the reputation. The pizza is as consistently delicious as ever, especially their signature hot oil pie—still unmatched. I moved away from the Fairfield area, so having Colony Grill in Shelton means this is officially my new go-to pizza spot. Great service, genuinely friendly staff, and clean, well-kept facilities. It’s the same Colony quality I’ve trusted for years, now closer to home.

I appreciate the Shelton location. It was much needed in this area. Same great Colony Grill pizza. Thin crust, great flavor, and consistent every time. Pretty soon they’ll need to continue expanding along the Route 8 because this location is going to get very busy, and additional spots would help balance takeout and dine-in demand.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Had to wait for a table on a Saturday night but that was to be expected. Manager Brian and our server Sabrina were fabulous. Love the atmosphere. First responders and military pictures on wall is so amazing. Fun place and great food. Love it! So happy Colony is in Shelton
