Food was pretty good. A little bland. The place is a cute place the people were friendly. The only thing that I had an issue with is the person that helped me didn’t speak English at all. I thought that was kind of weird. I don’t know if that’s normal in the United States to get waited on by someone that doesn’t know English. Other than that the place was clean and the food was edible

Great papusas! Tried the bean and cheese, green chile and cheese, as well as the zucchini and cheese which was the best! The flavor was incredible- highly recommend that one. The rest were yummy as well but that one was stand out. Our waitress was super sweet and its a cute little place overall!

This is the first time I ate a pupusa. They looked and smelled delicious! The two I tried were excellent. A friend of mine said these were the best pupusas in Albuquerque. After trying the pupusas, I believe him. I will be going there again and taking my family and extended family.
It looks like like a typical restaurant from Central America, which I thought was very cool!
When I was there, all the clientele were Spanish speaking which is a very good sign, in my opinion.
I am assuming they speak English, but I am not sure because we spoke Spanish to the waitress.
Just be aware, the food is Salvadoran, not Mexican or New Mexican. For example the horchata is in El Salvadoran style, not Mexican or New Mexican. It was excellent and I joined it a lot.
I will definitely going back again and taking family and friends.
I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try authentic Salvadoran food.

I love papusas and have been eating them whenever possible since the 1980s, when I lived in LA, so I’m not just some clueless gringo. I’ve tried all the Salvadoran restaurants in Albuquerque and like this one best.

I came in today to purchase a pupusa. I’ve been wanting to try one for months, and finally, I get to. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Thanks, and God bless you all.

Omg I am thoroughly satisfied. This was the best experience to have El Salvadorian food. Pupusas are my new favorite thing in this world. Definitely coming back.

Went here for the 1st time today. I have never tried pupusas and decided to stop since I pass this restaurant often. I ordered a pupusa de chicharron and I requested to add green chile and also ordered a pupusa de res (shredded beef). Ordered to go. When I got home anxious to try I ripped a piece of the 1st pupusa with chicharron and green chile and was very disappointed to see that it was all cornmeal and had VERY LITTLE meat plus it didn’t even look like chicharron or taste like it and it had jalapenos not green chile. That made me sad but I still had a second chance with the res pupusa. Well I tore a piece of that one too and once again VERY LITTLE meat plus under cooked so I had a mouthful of masa. If I had eaten there I would have asked for a refund and left. I would NOT go here again nor recommend this place. Not only because the food was not good nor worth the money but when I walked in the girls behind the counter looked at me very judgmental and I felt uncomfortable.

Amazing food! And friendly staff. This is a small restaurant with limited seating (due to covid) but still was able to have a table for dine in. I had the papusas and Salvadorian tamales and both were phenomenal! Fresh and packed with flavour.

Pupusas are sooo good! Everything is delicious and reasonably priced, and made completely fresh. The ladies are super nice too. Edit: I’ve tried pupusas at other locations, even other cities, and these are still the best pupusas and curtido I’ve ever had. Well worth traveling across the city for them!

The pupusas were great. The nopalito one was my favorite. I also love when the staff talks to you in Spanish. I speak Spanish but I am a white guy so usually get English No worries if don’t speak Spanish they speak English too.
