Big Joe’s did an incredible job of hosting my 40th Birthday Dinner! I worked with Candy, the manager on the reservation. Amy and Alex our servers, gave us by far the best service we have ever had with a large group! I highly recommend this restaurant for your next event! Oh and the food was AMAZING!

Tens across the board. The food was amazing, likely the best food my family has had in Newnan. My family dined and enjoyed, the catfish, burgers and tacos. Everything was delicious. The only thing better than the food was the service we received from Jessica. She was so kind and attentive. We will absolutely be back.

This is my second visit to Del Porto Italian Creole restaurant. And I must say the changes are amazing along with the food. The Atmosphere is very relaxing, but still Upscale.
We ordered Spinach dip and shrimp scampi for appetizer. Crab cakes vegetables mashed potatoes was my main dish . Let me tell you ,that was the best crab cakes I have had since I moved from
Virginia . The shrimp scampi was so delicious and spinach dip was so fresh it tastes like it was just pick from the garden. 5 stars to the Chiefs

We were hosted at Big Joe’s Grill for an impromptu birthday dinner for my mom on a snow day, and I honestly can’t say enough good things.
First — don’t let the name fool you. This is most definitely a fine dining establishment. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything felt elevated and intentional.
The chef was incredibly kind and came out personally several times to check on us and see how we were enjoying our meals, which made the experience feel extra special and personal. Our server was just as wonderful and never rushed us, even though they were technically supposed to close at 4.
The food itself was outstanding — easily the best meal I’ve had in the Peachtree City / Newnan area in a long time. What could have been a stressful snow-day scramble turned into a warm, memorable birthday celebration.
Big Joe’s Grill is a true hidden gem. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it.

We have visited this restaurant in its various iterations over the years. Started out great, then went downhill. I am very happy to say that the new owners have done a wonderful job. Decor is very nice, classy, comfortable. Staff & service were excellent. Food also excellent. Wedge salad was the best that I’ve ever had. Fried green bean appetizer was excellent. We both had steak frites as an entree – also excellent. Beignets for desert – what a treat!

Big Joe’s Grill is fantastic! I have been to the bar a handful of times over the past few weeks and it has been so consistent! Service is always fantastic, I have sat with all 3 bartenders. Tori made me an exceptional skinny margarita (I am extremely picky), Jessica helped me choose a delicious meal, and Sabrina and I talked until closing time. All 3 bartenders were attentive, kind and personable. You can tell the whole staff really works together to provide the best service to every guest that comes in the door. They have food and drink specials Monday through Thursday, happy hour every day from 3 pm to 6 pm (even saturdays), and the chef usually creates a unique special dish for Friday and Saturdays. I learned that they’ve done some rebranding in terms of menu recently and the whole experience has elevated since the last time I was here a few years back. Hoping to see this place blow up as it deserves to!

Flavor was great & service was too. Promptly assisted. Easy to get in & out. I didn’t complain & they may or may not have been willing to correct my only issue which was with my steak tips; but I was too hungry to wait on a fix & really just didn’t feel like doing anything other than eating & leaving. In any case, a couple of the individual steak tips were not chewable due to gristle & they were also over cooked but still tender & juicy. I was still happy enough to leave a good tip & pay without complaint but Idk if I’ll order the steak tips again even though I know I will happily return to the restaurant.

Residents of NJ, it was late on a Wed. when we found ourselves looking for restaurant suggestions on Googlemaps. We had been up since 4A, traveled hundreds of miles and were done with day one of college tours with our 17 year old. Though we missed the initial highway entrance, we couldn’t have been happier that we rerouted and made it to Big Joe’s Grill. We were greeted by a purposeful, genuine and very sweet hostess who asked us what brought us here tonight and let us choose our table (offering inside our out). The vibe was half wine bar, half white table clothed casual restaurant. We decided on a high top by the bar. The lighting was very well done and complimented the comfortable yet elegant design making it warm and inviting. Tori, the bar manager took our drink order and suggested a good basic Cabernet. The limited menu, usually a sign of quality, did not disappoint. Looking at first for burgers…we couldn’t resist ordering the bruschetta, steak tips, chicken shawarma and chicken Caesar salad. Everything was fresh, beautiful and perfectly cooked. The three of us ended up sharing each other’s entrees so that we could taste everything we ordered. Chef Michael came out at one point to say hello…we were thrilled to meet this young, unassuming and talented man, who shared a cute story about his own young daughter’s college plans. What a gem of a restaurant….we will be back!! Five stars all the way!
