Oh, and when they say hot, it is HOT BBQ sauce, and I loved it… I’m a Ghost Pepper/Reaper Pepper kind of guy to give you a gauge.
As a self-proclaimed barbecue sauce enthusiast, I went with the half-and-half thinking, “I can handle this.” Reader… it handled me. Delicious? Absolutely. Fire? Also absolutely. I was sweating like I’d just run a 5K in a sauna. Respectfully, that sauce came to humble me.
That said, I love that a barbecue joint offers a healthier-ish lane. I grabbed the veggie bowl with chicken, and for $15? That’s a win. Solid scoop of rice, crunchy cabbage, carrots, broccoli, topped with smoky barbecue chicken and that wild, personality-packed sauce. It was giving “I care about my macros, but I also like flavor.”
Next time though? We’re dialing it back to mild or regular. I’ve learned my lesson.
Now if you’re like my coworker — a hot sauce thrill-seeker who treats spice like a competitive sport — this is your playground. He ordered the ribs and left behind nothing but clean bones and zero regrets. If that’s not a five-star review in caveman language, I don’t know what is.
I’m in my “balanced choices” era, so I’ll probably stick to the bowls. But just know… if you like your barbecue with a side of adrenaline? This spot is ready for you.
I had an incredible dining experience at Buster’s BBQ! Their tri-tip is absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The spicy sausage is another standout; it has just the right kick that keeps you coming back for more!
What really impressed me were the sides. Their potato salad and macaroni salad are delicious, especially because they aren’t overly sweet like most places. It’s a nice change that lets the flavors shine through.
The portions are incredibly generous, ensuring you leave with a full belly. Each meal comes with two huge pieces of French bread, which are perfect for soaking up all the delicious sauces.
If you’re a BBQ lover, Buster’s is a must-visit! Their dining room is very casual, and the staff are very friendly as well. I can’t wait to go back and indulge in more of their mouthwatering offerings. Highly recommend!
Lastly— I had to get the banana pudding. It was PERFECT. Literally perfect. So fresh and delightful. Holy moly.
My entire meal here was nothing short of yum. I already texted my friend and told him we are coming back here because he needs to enjoy them too!
Also, the banana pudding tasted more like vanilla instant pudding with a couple of nilla wafers on top.
Maybe they were just having a bad day? I don’t know.
Sandwiches are good size, but overall just ok with flavor. Smoke ring on the tri tip sandwich was healthy. The bake beans were disappointing as was the garlic on its own.
