Spaced Events loved the professionalism and excellent customer service!!
The lemon drop flight was delicious.
The food was flavorful and arrived hot.
Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed
The hostess and our server were both excellent, and they are the only reason this isn’t a zero-star experience.
While waiting for our food on a very slow night, I observed a man—who appeared to be the kitchen manager or manager on duty—preparing food in the kitchen area. He had curly hair, no hairnet, and AirPods in. I watched him get food on his fingers, lick each finger, then stir a white bowl with a spoon, lick the spoon, and walk away with the bowl.
Concerned that this food might be served to my family, I asked for a manager. Shockingly, the same man came to our table and claimed he was “making his own food” on lunch break and tried to minimize the situation. Only after further confrontation did he admit he “messed up.”
After that, I could barely eat. I managed half of my burger. The so-called “GOAT” burger was a frozen, pre-shaped patty with an onion ring, BBQ sauce, and cheese. I later became sick and vomited after leaving.
My wife and daughter liked their steaks, but neither liked the macaroni and cheese (too thick and unappetizing). The fries were over-seasoned and tasted bad.
We tipped our server well because she deserved it. We will never return.
Food safety is non-negotiable—especially from management. Avoid this place.
The food was good. The appetizers were awesome and the burger and red pepper bisque we got were really good too. To top it off the kids good names are hilarious.
All that said service was a bit slow and their were some shenanigans getting the food out. It was really good food if you’ve got the time for a sit down experience.
~30 min wait time for appetizers, another 20 min wait to order then 30 mins for food. Another 20 minutes for the check once we were done. For context the restaurant seemed about 40% full. All that said the staff were great.
Good experience over all.
After waiting 1 1/2 hours plus, the food was cold. My colleagues food were lukewarm and the fries were hot.
I had the loaded nachos and don’t want them again, not even from anywhere else.
Our waiter made us aware of the missing staff; however, we should have been made aware of the wait time in the beginning.
I received one refill eventually. I felt that it was important to understand since they were low on staff. Our drinks were free. The server was very kind.
One server who could have been the owner, was about to accidentally give my food to another table. Cold cheese on nachos was not good. I forced myself to eat what I could.
Here is the kicker, “I had to call the restaurants number to ask for our receipt in order to pay. Again, our cashier was nice.
I will not visit again. I came for a conference and was invited. This will be shared with as many as possible. I hope that management will re-examine how to address people when they are short staffed. We did get an apology at some point.
I felt bad for the server hustling and bustling. She has a great attitude.
Unfortunately, I spent too much time waiting for food that wasn’t enjoyable and was over $10.00.
My first time and last time.
The food looked good. You will see in the pictures.
WARNING: If you stop in, make very sure to ask if they are staffed or what is the wait time.
I wanted to mark lower than a one star for the food but I couldn’t.
I had to take service overall into consideration. I lost over 1 1/2 hours plus, and for what?
The cashier Toshia was very kind, but it just didn’t go well overall. It was because of her that I didn’t ask for a full refund by the time it came.
I really do hope to read about better experiences.
My MIL ordered the fried catfish, which was very good. My husband and FIL got a steak, which was also very good.
They ordered Onion Rings, which came out very cold, and we had to send them back.
The server was very nice. All in all, 5/10. I probably won’t be coming back, though.
