This is a rare and incredibly charming café in Kauai. Every little detail, from the napkins to the straws, reflects its unique concept. The drinks are diverse, each with its own taste. Don’t miss the beautiful accessories and clothing brought in from Europe!
The only downside? The food tends to sell out quickly in the morning. If you’re planning to have a meal, I’d recommend going before lunchtime!

This location has so many positive reviews that mine likely is not needed. However, to not write a stellar review feels inconsiderate. This place was wonderful! The atmosphere was calming, welcoming, peaceful! The food (truffle croissant) melted in our mouths! The coffee and matcha lit up our day! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will be back!

The Hawaiian Tropic was to die for!! Sad I went at the end of my trip because this was the best coffee we had on island, if not EVER! Pastries were super good and fresh. The shop itself was so cute and aesthetic, and I LOVED the heart straws. Definitely a must go

Passed this so many times while on the road and, well, let’s just say I won’t be forgetting about it anytime soon. Once you open the door to Melrose, you are transported in time to the cutest boutique and coffee shop with the most comforting coquette vibes. While things are a bit expensive you really can’t judge the prices because I think every cent was completely worth it. If you are a sweet coffee fiend and looking for a delicious coffee, I can honestly say that the coconut cream Vietnamese coffee is the coffee I have been searching for– best I’ve had on island. So incredibly smooth and sweet (and they got the good ice). The baked goods were delectable as well, I had the black truffle egg croissant. The croissant itself was flaky and buttery the and I am still baffled how they made an egg taste that good. This spot is a must for residents and visitors alike. First time and I will most definitely be returning.

Melrose has officially stolen my heart! From the moment I stepped in, I was enveloped in the most charming and inviting atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable and at ease. But let’s talk about the food – it was absolutely insane. Every bite was a flavor explosion, and it’s clear that they put so much care and passion into their dishes. Honestly, I’m still dreaming about it. And to top it all off, the staff were beyond nice. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do. If you’re looking for a place with incredible food, a delightful atmosphere, and exceptional service, Melrose is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!
