Honey Deer is a true gem! The coffee is incredibly delicious (one of the best I’ve had in the mountains), baked goods are always fresh and flaky, and breakfasts are just wow (croissants, quiche, — all top-notch). Friendly service, quick, and prices are very reasonable for this quality. Super happy, will be back! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just opened in Avon just inside the Christie Lodge! We are so excited to support this local small business. They have homemade bakery items. We enjoyed the cinnamon roll and ham and cheese. Both of us had vanilla lattes and they were fantastic! If you have catering needs, it looks like they do that, too!

We were so excited to see this business in the Christie Lodge lobby! The staff is so friendly! There was quite a variety of baked goods! All were delicious! We chose the cinnamon roll, almond croissant, raspberry pistachio brownie, and a blueberry scone this time. Their blueberry muffins were also very good, and all were baked in house!

I ordered a cake from Honey Deer for my daughter’s birthday. She said it was beautiful and the most delicious cake she ever had. Natalia and her husband were friendly and so easy to work with. I would highly recommend this bakery for any custom baked goods.

Tried this place yesterday and had to come back for more today. What a gem!!! Their croissants are so buttery and flaky. Best coffee in town. They use fine Italian coffee beans! If you’re looking for awesome coffee this is the place you have to try.

I think this place is good and really liked it the first few times I tried it.
The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because the last couple times I’ve gotten something out of the pastry case, they kind of have an odd taste. The pastries had this faint taste almost like the refrigerated air in the case – it’s distinct, not necessarily making the pastry taste bad, just a little odd. Does that make sense? I don’t know if they had just been sitting in there for a little while or what.
The owner is nice and makes all the drinks to order. I’ll definitely get coffee and matcha there again, but I might pass on a pastry.

The owners are so sweet! Very welcoming and make all their pastries homemade. Such a cute little shop. A perfect place to get a coffee and a snack before going on the mountain!
