I started with the sampler platter trio, which was a great way to try a little bit of everything. The grilled spicy scallops were perfectly cooked, offering a satisfying balance of heat and flavor. The dim sum was another highlight—tender and flavorful. For the main course, I indulged in the green curry and drunken fried rice. Both dishes were vibrant, with the green curry delivering a delightful level of spice and richness, while the fried rice was savory with just the right amount of kick. I also tried their Thai iced tea, which was the perfect sweet, creamy complement to the spicy dishes.
Although the food was excellent, one downside was the parking. There is metered parking nearby, but the area gets quite busy in the evening, making it difficult to find a spot quickly. I’d suggest arriving a bit early to secure parking. I believe after 6pm parking is free.
Overall, I had a fantastic time and will definitely return. The food quality, fast seating, and great variety of dishes made it worth the little extra effort.
Green papaya
Thai papaya salad, or som tam, is a crunchy dish with a balance of salty, sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. Key ingredients include shredded green papaya, long beans, tomatoes, garlic, Thai chilies, fish sauce, lime juice, and palm sugar, often with peanuts and dried shrimp for added texture and umami and this is what the they service me,.
We had pad se ew and drunken noodle, both were good. Papaya salad to start and that was nice. I love that they removed the tails from the shrimp. Sign of a good, caring chef.
Thai iced coffee was really good too!
We tried their Sampler trio which was a good decision lol everything was good. Chicken Satay must be our favorite on this app dish – great flavor and perfectly grilled. The drunken noodles was perfect too. Very flavourful, good portion of noodles and meat and noodles was nice and chewy.
The Grilled Lemongrass was good but wasnt exactly a favorite. Although there was lots of meat as they used chicken breast, i felt perhaps it would be more flavorful if a bony area was used like maybe the thigh part. I loved the side of papaya salad and the sticky rice though.
Overall still had a great late lunch meal. Lots of parking space at the back too and Kubo Coffee and creamery is just across for some nice desserts!
The food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the veggie spring rolls, curry puff, shrimp pad thai and essence fried rice. Our waiter seemed like she was upset and didn’t want to be at work. Customer service could use a class on proper greeting and making the dining experience exceptional.
To have a waiter who has bad energy can really ruin the dine in experience.
