Food was phenomenal, all great. The service started off good, only 3-4 other tables had people. Once we got to 5-6 tables full, the service dropped off. Had to tab out at the bar and get a to go box. Overall would go back, in their defense, they only had two waitresses on staff.

What a great place tucked into the beautiful MN wilderness! Large spacious inside with lots of table and bar seating. Mad Dog’s next door serves up a large menu of great bar food and pizza options. Darts, BGH, claw games, and lots more to keep the kiddos busy. Awesome place to catch the game!

This is a great restaurant on the inside but looks like a pole barn on the outside. Food is great service was fantastic Man we would definitely come back here! They have some unique pizzas that are definitely worth trying and yes it’s a bar and they also have a party room. I can’t wait to go back. It was my first time here but my family that lives up in Grand rapids goes there all the time. The waitresses know my family by name which was kind of cool!

I had gluten free sausage and mushroom pizza. My hubby had the California bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. We were both very happy with our meals. The gluten free crust was crispy, mushrooms were fresh, sausage pieces were big, and the flavor was great! Hubby said his hamburger buns was buttered and toasted, burger had good flavor and the onion rings were crispy. Our meal was delivered to our hotel. Delivery driver was nice and courteous. We will order from here again.
A note to ones who have to eat gluten free. The only items I saw on the menu that was gluten free was the pizza crust. No gluten free bun if you are looking for a burger.

We stopped in heading south. The best, freshest, cheesiest pizza I’ve had maybe ever. Our table had the Maddog and the Rueben. Both very tasty. Service was great.

Called and placed the order at 6pm. Ordered an 8-pc bone in teriyaki, 8-pc bone in garlic parm, and a 12” Big Dog no mushrooms crispy. I repeated my order. I was told it would be delivered in an hour. An hour and 10 minutes later I called back to check on my order. She said it was just getting put in the oven as they got busy and guaranteed it would be hot when I received it within 30 minutes. So when I finally received my order 1 hour and 40 minutes after I had ordered it, it was cold and more than half of it was not even cut, had mushrooms on it, and it definitely was not crispy. Very disappointed in the place. The service gets worse and worse. I have attached photos. Also please note, that you have a young man that repeats credit card numbers out loud. Not cool at all.

Went to Grand rapids looking for somewhere new to eat went to mad dogs and boy were we satisfied waitress attended us right away goddess or drinks we asked her if the hamburgers are well done or can they make them to your taste however you like will make it and boy was it good also had a Reuben sandwich very very good we will be back there

Excellent!! We stopped on our way to Grand Portage! I had the Tuscan chicken salad and woah it was delicious and HUGE!! The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was great for a bar setting. It wasn’t dark and dingy but designed with intention! I’m so glad we stopped in!
