It’s all too often that you go to a local restaurant chain late and you don’t get exemplary service. My wife and I went to the Burger King on Creswell lane in Opelousas and we received great service! We received the exact menu item that we ordered.. not an item that was just sitting and waiting. Hot and fresh fries along with the exact burger! The 2-3 people that were working tonight were great!

updated review: the Berger King in Opelousas has now ben doing a lot better since my last review where I almost crashed out in all caps, I was just frustrated that the floors were once squeaky, but now they no longer are. they fixed the floors, the food is a lot better than Marcksville Berger King, it now let’s you visit Walmart Supercenter after finishing lunch/dinner, and the Berger King didn’t deserve that previous review i made. the Marcksville Berger King is the one that needs to be Demoliched.

This place is the worst. I have to repeat my order in the drive-thru no fewer than 3 times. My order is never right. The previous order I placed was a value meal. They gave me a small drink. I asked about it and they said they were out of Mediums so the manager told them to give smalls. I asked if I was charged less, they stared at me. This last order, and it is my last, they got 2/3 wrong. Ordered a hamburger kids meal, plain. Got a cheeseburger kids meal that was plain. That’s not too bad. But I also ordered a double cheeseburger value meal with cheese and mayonnaise only. I looked through the bags they gave me (3, including 2 kids meals bag when I only ordered 1). The lady at the window asked what I was looking for. I said the double cheeseburger. She told me it was in one of the kids meal bags. I told her that I had ordered a value meal which has a larger fry than the kids meal. She told me that was what came with it (despite giving me a medium drink). I asked her again, the kids size fry is what comes with a value meal? She said yes. Told me they rang it up right and that it was fine. It was not. I have never gotten a kids fry with a value meal. The lady at the window (possibly the manager) was very dismissive. I got home and I didn’t even get a double cheeseburger. Got a kids burger with mustard, ketchup, and pickles. They don’t give receipts, so I have no idea what they charged me. I tried to call and they didn’t answer. I truly think they are ripping people off. I love BK, but will never go to this one again.

The bathrooms are dirty and one of the stalls don’t even lock. There was toilet paper in the other stall and it smelled so bad. Nobody was even in the restaurant so there’s no excuse for the bathroom to be that dirty!

Not sure what the issue is here but it doesn’t seem to matter the time of day, how busy they are or how many workers they have, they will always make you pull forward and wait for your food. Multiple occasions I’ve waited 15+ minutes for one meal with no one else in line. You can see the workers just sitting around talking and not one of them working until they figure you’ve been waiting long enough. They tell you they are waiting for fresh fries and still hand you something thats cold and stale.

Ordered 2 nuggets & dbl whopper extra, extra onions. Got to pay window $4.?? Nope. Left off burger. Told order again including extra, extra onions. Paid. Checked receipt. All down. And $0.30 for heavy onion!! Oh well. Got home 25 minutes after time of receipt (7 minute drive)
Opened burger, not the first piece of onion. So I paid $0.30 for no onions.
She did give me sauce after I ask if sauce in bag. (For nuggets)

Wow!!!Where to start in visiting family and stopped here at night. Pull in and a worker cars are dodging an employee clearly buying weed in the parking lot. I’m from the hood the same truck circled ya boy as he walked in the car to get the money. Cool not my business. Well we sit at the intercom for 10 minutes until someone finally figures out there is car in the drive thru. We go to order and are rudely told they can only do one order per car. Not an actual problem, but wait….we order and proceed to go to the window where they get this ask us “to spin the block”. Ok so you want us to go through the drive thru again?No worries I actually learned from a previous B.K. that they do this to inflate drive thru numbers, that B.K. was on point. Anyways we do and as we’re in the drive thru AGAIN. We clearly hear them asking if the cars order in front of us together. Because obviously there is a line now. Get to the window and now at least 5 workers have realized they have a job, but now we’re getting waived down so their camera can register a car in the drive thru the madness still continues. Get to the window and of course the weed has set in and they have no idea what we ordered. At least we got to spend a 30 minute Burger King tour together and enjoy our $40 uncooked burgers and iceless strawless drinks. Yay Opelousas.

If I could give no star I would. We went for breakfast a few days ago around 8:45am it was horrible, the food was Greasy we ordered a Bacon egg cheese Croissant the bacon looked uncooked, the egg was dry. French toast sticks tasted like they sat in grease all morning and hard, no syrup given. Sausage egg and cheese sandwich, no egg. The hash browns where so full of grease the bag was soaked, and they where over cooked. The wait was 15 min. I will not go back to this buger king. When you pay for food you expect the food to be prepared correctly and food safety. When my husband Went in to get syrup the only person in the kitchen was on there phone talking. He couldn’t find the lady for the front counter, so his wait was 10 min waiting for someone to help him. If I where you I would skip this place. Just an over all horrible experience.
