The La Parilla Yucatán Mexican Food restaurant is a hidden Mexican food gem located in Ventura by the college. We went for a quick breakfast and we were so happy we went there. The food is very tasty with an excellent salsa and fresh crunchy chips. The food was excellent and reasonably price. Our server did an exceptional job, he was extremely attentive and friendly. The menu had many interesting traditional Mexican dishes and we definitely be back to explore these. La Parilla is an excellent Mexican food option in Ventura! We will be back for happy hour very soon!

The timing was perfect because we were looking for a catering company for our wedding and they cater!
This catering team was truly the best choice for our wedding, even providing some of the rental items we needed like chafing dishes, plates and silverware, and nice large beverage jugs. The food was phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The shrimp enchiladas were an absolute standout and received rave reviews from so many of our guests.
On top of that, the service and bartending were top-notch. Eyder and Dulce were warm, efficient, professional, and incredibly attentive the whole night keeping everything running seamlessly from start to finish.
We felt so confident having them handle such an important part of our celebration. We would recommend them without hesitation for weddings or any special event! 10 s!!

Okay Ventura you surprised me!
We stopped by as we’re heading back from a road trip! I was skeptical, but the food was great! Authentic Mexican food! Everything was good as well as the service, they were busy but food came out timely and hot! Would’ve back if I’m ever in the area!

Came back from Cancun and loved their signature dish “cochinita pipil”. Found out that La Parrilla restaurant specializes in Yucatan food, so we had to stop by and try it out. And when I tell you their cochinia pipil took us back to Cancun. The flavor, the meat, the black beans, and their white rice with vegetables were right on point. We will definitely stop by soon.

Took a mini vacation with the kiddos before they start bk to skool tried this spot last yr nd since we were in town just had to go bk n enjoy me some yummy eats again!!! To start off with sum Delicious chips with salsa nd had me some shrimp tacos with a mango Margherita overall this spot hits the tummy every time for the good flavors the food brings!!!

Attractive atmosphere. Service was friendly. I had the enchiladas de mole. Plated attractive ly with beans, rice and sour cream. It was flavorful with the right amount of spice. This was my first time there and I will definitely return with friends.
