We had a large reservation for 14 people (All adults except 1) that was made a week and a half prior for hibachi. When we first got there, we had to wait, then the chef was running late as well. So nothing got started until about an hour after we sat down. No blame on anyone but the floor manager. The service tho? Phenomenal. The chef was amazing and charming. Literally made for his job. My friends and I had an absolute blast. Only downside was that the chicken was overcooked and the wait even tho we had a reservation.

Is best surprise date night ever. She had no clue where we were going and the fun part was she had never been to habachi in Santa Rosa and didn’t even realize one existed. That made it extra special. We got a private hibachi table with a private chef. Dias put on a great performance. He made my girlfriend’s birthday extra special. We both have the steak and lobster. Try it you will like it.

Paradise Sushi & Hibachi is a bit of a mixed bag, with some highs and some very definite lows. My wife and I came in for dinner, me for the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi and she for the hibachi steak and chicken combo.
The meal started with a standard miso soup, which was perfectly fine—much like any other I’ve had. The side salads, however, were a disappointment for my wife, who usually loves them, and were just okay for me. For the main courses, my wife was thoroughly unimpressed with her hibachi. The steak was decent, but the chicken was overcooked, and the shrimp was also rubbery. The rice was, unfortunately, a letdown.
My experience with the AYCE sushi was an adventure. At $39, the value is excellent, but a key detail is that the rolls are full-sized. I made the mistake of ordering five rolls right away, which turned the meal into a race against the clock to finish all 50 pieces and avoid being charged for leftovers. While it was my own fault for over-ordering, the atmosphere felt a bit tense. I felt like I was being watched by the staff, who were likely on the lookout for customers trying to share their AYCE rolls. The sushi itself was good for the first few bites, but the overwhelming task of finishing everything made it hard to enjoy.
Overall, it’s hard to recommend the hibachi side of the menu based on my wife’s meal. For the sushi, the value is there, but you have to be very strategic with your order to truly enjoy it. It’s a place I might return to for sushi, but I’ll be starting with just one or two rolls next time. Also just a side note, this is the only hibachi restaurant my or I have ever been to that doesn’t have exhaust hoods over any of the grills so the smoke and steam from the chefs cooking just fills the entire dining room. Very odd.

My husband made a reservation for my birthday. We arrived got seated and out server didn’t introduce herself. The food was delicious, the cook was the best part he was so good with my little one. The server didn’t come once to ask if we needed anything else not one time. She brought the boxes over and said I’ll bring the check. Very cold and dry. The table next to us had a birthday and they sung to her but I didn’t get anything. We would come back for the food not for the service. Kinda dissatisfied.

Really good sushi! No misery! A LOT OF (GOOD) sushi!!! I definitely recommend this place =)
The service is really good and they are very fast and friendly! They dance as your music! All the rolls that we took was good and taste, niguiri was perfect!
UPDATE: Came back for the second time, the food was pretty good as before, all fresh and tasty. At this time, we had a seat near the sushi chefs, On the last table on the left, it was comfortable but super hot! I guess the air conditioner is not working there, because for some minutes I almost went out to breathe! When we left, outside was much fresh, so I definitely RECOMMEND take a look at that because it broke the dinner. Anyway, I will keep the 5 stars because I still think that this all you can eat sushi is worth, but please take a look and make this area more fresh. Thank you so much, you guys are amazing! Keep the great work =)

I think this will be my last visit to Paradise sushi.

I used to come here all the time with my friends and family and we were all very satisfied with the sushi.

The last few times I walked away disappointed and this time was even worse than before.

This place should be called Pathetic sushi and Hibachi

If you look at it from the top it looks amazing.

This has to be only 5% fish on all of the nigiri and rolls.

Here you can see the California roll with how much fish compared to everything else.

The fish is fresh and The taste is good. It’s very clean and I was satisfied with the quail eggs and the salmon egg nigiri. That’s it.

I don’t know if all the waiters are as bad as the one that we got but this guy was terrible. It wasn’t even that busy. The sushi chef did not give us any wasabi or ginger, I had to get my own fork, they brought different sushi versus what I ordered and completely forgot a number of different items all together.

My dad got the tempura and it was pretty bad also. It was mostly covered in bread and really soggy with grease.

These people should go to a real Japanese restaurant someday and understand what real Japanese food should taste like.

My Hope is they change owners and keep the AYCE and go back to the way it was.

At $37 for the dinner it’s a complete and total scam.

Bad service, but great food. There was no handicapped parking by main entrance. Appetizers are not included so beware. They are expensive and barely are given enough of an appetizer for one person, they fill with cabbage to make it look full. We decided on all you can eat sushi. Took almost 30 minutes to get our first rolls then another 30 for the waitress to even come ask if we needed anything. She had taken my menu from my first round of sushi so i was waiting another 30 minutes until i get my next round. Sitting for an hour and a half I had to tell her to bring me a menu and please refill the empty cups that sat there for over 30 minutes. They only had 1 high chair so we were fighting with my toddler the entire meal because she too small to sit at a table and had to be held the entire time. The michelada tasted like clamato with no beer. The rolls and food were beautifully displayed and had amazing flavor. The hibatchi looked fun but since we had to be moved to a booth we could only hear what was going on. The child options are very limited. The food was the only thing i enjoyed here. We arrived at 8pm, now 30 minutes to closing and we barely ate anything. My daughter started throwing up so they let us take the extra roll togo for a fee. Thank you to the floor manager who rung me up and got me out of there quickly. Ny waitress had disappeared once again.
