Always on the lookout for a good smash and found this spot on google, I have tried another location in Miami which was excellent so I had high hopes for this.
This Mr Smash burger location is part of a Mexican restaurant, looks like the burgers were added on to attract more business.
When I arrived during lunchtime it was empty , I was the only customer.
I ordered the Jalapeño Crema double smash and fries. I normally go for the standard smash at most places because it’s easier to compare but I wanted to spice it up.
The burger was simply okay. Nicely smashed patty but had no crust and the meat was also nothing special, a bit chewy. The toppings were overwhelming and didn’t mix well together. I wouldn’t order this flavor again but I probably also wouldn’t come back to this location. The other location was so much better, what a shame.
The fries were seasoned nicely and were the highlight but they seemed a tad stale.
Overall the other Mr Smash location was significantly better and if I was in this area I would probably go to a different restaurant if I was looking for a smash burger.

This was our 1st time going there, the burgers were soggy, came to us in an aluminum bag. Looks like they came out the microwave. The fries look like something from the grocery store. There was so much sauce. There was no crunch to the burger. We sat in the booth it smelled like urine we had to move spots. They charged us $12 for three little cans of sodas charged us for three margaritas when it was supposed to be buy one get one for happy hour. We paid $107. For poor service we live and we learn I paid $12 for a burger that I will never eat again I would not recommend this place to anybody. The water tasted like it came from a faucet. It was disgusting.

Horrible. Was not ready when I arrived. They are cooking it in kitchen apparently instead of food truck. I was told to wait for a couple minutes that were actively starting the order. Food came out about 10mn later. Fries completely cold and stale, burger was to be a double wagyu and both chunks of meat in burger didn’t even equal one small patty. It was also equally cold. I ended up having to order from papa John’s to fulfill my hunger. Checkers would have been better quality and taste, and that is an insult.

If you’re reading this, save yourself the time, and go 2 mins down the street to BMC Smash Burgers.
The only saving grace was the service from Mario. He was very kind and personable. He even comped our food – at his discretion – I believe because he knew how bad it was.
This is actually part of the taco spot where the Mr Smash Burger vintage trailer is parked. We ordered chips and salsa to start. The “salsa” was literally tomato sauce served alongside what appeared to be day-old, reheated chips. I ate one chip then stopped.
Our “smash burgers” were served with a pink middle, and had the appearance not unlike a squashed ball of Play-Doh. They were smothered in whatever sauce they’re served with, which I can only imagine is to cover up the subpar meat quality. My daughter asked for her burger to be refired. They ended up making a new burger – which was nice – but it was somehow both chewy and burnt.
It seems the new ownership decided to spend more in redecorating the restaurant than on the food. Such a shame. It’s a great area and I’m sure they could do well with some changes.

Had the chance to try Mr. Smashburger during a sneak peek and it did not disappoint! Easily one of the best smashburgers in Fort Lauderdale I have had in a long time. I went with the double Wagyu and it was seasoned to perfection. Loved the retro vibe right next to Bandoleros Tacos.
Bonus points for the full bar with craft beer and cocktails! burger and a beer on a Friday? Count me in. Can’t wait to come back!

We stopped by Mr. Smash Burger on a Sunday night, a bit after 10 PM, and honestly, they saved us. It was the only place open, and I’m so glad we ended up there. The staff was super friendly, seriously a 10/10, and the owner was there too, just as welcoming and down-to-earth. You can tell they really care about what they do.
The atmosphere was chill, perfect for a late-night bite, and let me tell you… that burger was unreal. Best burger I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. Juicy, full of flavor, cooked just right .
Definitely recommend, and I’ll 100% be going back!

Went here looking for a smash burger. It’s a part of the Mexican restaurant so you’re forced to sit down and tip your server. Not a place where you can order from a window, sit down and eat your burger.
The burger was okay at best. It was falling apart big time. I got the Oklahoma smash and I couldn’t taste anything except the sauce.
Unfortunately I would not recommend the burgers. I did not try the fries or anything else.
Side not: The burger took over 25 minutes to come out.

Bo, the owner, came up with the best smash burger recipe I’ve ever had in my life no exaggeration. The man knows exactly what he’s doing. The flavor, the crust, the juiciness it hits different. You don’t just eat these burgers, you go to war with them, and you come out stuffed, satisfied, and ready for a nap.
