Visited Duc Huong for the first time. The place was packed with customers. They had a good system of ordering with multiple registers inside and food pickup outside. Staff was friendly and efficient. Sandwiches did take a bit long to be ready, but understandable with the amount of customers. Bahn Mi were fair priced and delicious. (tried grilled pork as well as the cold cut combo). I recommend giving them a try.

I liked the banh mi as much as people promised. It’s takeout only, order inside then join the hoard of people outside waiting to pick up at the window.

The vegetarian banh mi is stuffed with well seasoned mix of mushrooms, tofu skin, and I think wheat gluten. It was very flavorful. And of course the bread is first rate with a most satisfying crunch on the outside and soft on the inside.

Order ahead if you don’t like waiting.

The line was out the door on thanks giving which is a good sign that the food is worth the wait. I got the Banh mi thit nuong, a Banh mi pork belly, a ice coffee, 4 rolls and 2 pandan waffles.

The Banh mi was great and so were the rolls. The waffles were ok but others in my group loved them.

The price is a bit of a killer though especially when converting to AUD. $69 Aussie dollars is steep to say the least. It was worth a try but I won’t be back.

First timer, I ordered ahead for pick up. I walked in there was one line, didnt see no sign for pick up orders, so I went up to the cashier and asked where do I pick up online orders, idk if she didnt hear me but repeated myself and she rudely said just stand there so I was like ok. 3min later she waves a young girl, im assuming to help me she approaches me very nice told her my name gives me my order, I go to my car I open it, immediately notice no garlic spread,my order was a small cold combo with butter parsley spread, extra pate, extra daikons and carrots, so went back cause i mean come on we pay extra, as im walking back I notice there was a window for pick up orders not sure why the cashier didnt mention that instead had me just stand there, go to the window she apologizes I was thinking they were going to re make it but no she takes it back goes to the kitchen, brings me the same sanwhich with the spread! And it was cold not even toasted like what?? So imagine how butter gets when its cold yes! So at this point I was like what ever then I see no extra pate nor daikons with carrots, very disappointed, I really tried to like this place base on the hype but nope, maybe ill try again another day or a different location.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Duc Huong and this particular location is my go-to. I frequent here quite often and have even gotten my work girlies to fall just as in love. Periodically, I stop by prior to work and grab my girlies’ they orders outta the kindness of my heart. Great, right??

The 2 stars given is strictly because my order almost ALWAYS have some kind of discrepancy. Whether I order in Vietnamese or English, there’s always an issue. Some issue in particular are: 1) NO MAYO 2) NO PEPPERS 3) REQUEST FOR EXTRA VEGGIES.

On multiple occasions, peppers are present and the extra veggies that are paid for were skimpy. The worst thing is the staff including mayo when the the request clearly states not to. Normally this wouldn’t be too big of an issue had the recipient not have an allergy!!!! AN ALLERGY!!!

This is still my go-to location but proper food handling is definitely a must when it comes to people’s wants, needs, and allergy requirements.

Be kind, be apologetic, and SIMPLY DO BETTER!!!

The best banh I have had! Bread is baked fresh. Their grilled pork and grilled beef was so tender and delicious. They have a small($4-$6) and large($8-$11) size. There is no place to sit and eat just to go. You order inside and pickup outside at the window. Definitely, must try if you are in the area!

YouTube hit it on the money, this is probably one of the best if not the best Banh mi sandwich shop I’ve ordered from. No joke the line, like on YouTube is always there even when I visited. I ordered the Grilled Pork and BBQ pork on the Garlic bread and it was awesome, it will be difficult to go back to the standard bread after trying this. Solid 10 out of 10. To top it off the prices are very reasonable, around $8-$9. I’d way rather have 2 of these than a sandwich from a regular sandwich shop that charges $15-$18. Even other Banh Mi places charge closer to $10 and some more than $10 and they don’t come close to this one. Can’t wait to go back.

Don’t get me wrong. The food here was flavorful and delicious. Much better than the “Lee sandwich”. But the wait was LONG, long and very long!

The bread is fresh, packed with protein of your choice and pickled veggies, cilantro, and jalapeños.

My order was taken at 10:03 and my number was call at 10:48. 45 minutes of wait on the Saturday morning for two sandwiches.

I will call next time or don’t come on the weekend

Really good sandwiches, and iced coffee, prices are good too. They have the buy four sandwiches get the fifth free, deal. Be careful when you go, or order ahead of time, because the wait could be long, they get really busy sometimes. Their sandwiches are stuffed really well and their bread is crunchy and delicious.

No eat in. Went Saturday at noon. Waited 23 minutes. Worth the wait! Got large meatball, my favorite. Very flaky bread and flavorful protein.
If you see a lot of people outside they’re all waiting. Go inside to order and pay. Monitor and a somewhat quiet pa announces ready2p/u orders.
People dbl park in front so be careful. I park along mckee behind mickey d’s to avoid the nonsense.
