I’m staying in the hotel next to this place. I also happen to enjoy Indian cuisine very much. I decided to order some chicken tandoori. It did take about 30 min until I got my food, and I wasn’t given any napkins or cutlery. That’s why I subtracted a star from service, however, my food was absolutely banging. For the chicken tandoori they give you 2 thighs and 2 legs seasoned to perfection as well as 2 sauces. One I think may be mayo, but there’s a green sauce that’s amazing. Love the flavors. Will probably order again while I’m in town! Napkins next time please!

One of the worst Indian food I have had. They didn’t have Tandoori chicken available yet when we ordered butter chicken (tandoori chicken is the main ingredient of it) they served it which leads me to believe it was either frozen food heated up or leftovers. The Lamb Rogan Josh was not cooked properly and very salty. Glass of a house red wine was $20 which is unbelievable and they even charged $3.99 for a side of onions & lemon which is complimentary and standard with Indian entrees. Place was spacious with 2 bars and it felt awkward as we were the only people in this huge space (there was a private party in the other area).

Mehfil Cafe is a gem! The food was absolutely delicious, with beautiful presentation. I tried the LOBSTER BUTTER MASALA, and it was bursting with flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the start. The cozy ambiance made for a relaxing dining experience. Overall, a fantastic place for a memorable meal.

The Dal Makhani here rivaled the dal I had at Burkara at ITC hotel in Delhi. It was THAT good. Chicken tikka tandoori was incredibly succulent and well spiced. Bao buns surprisingly legit. Naan delicious. Drinks were well done. I’m giving this a great review despite a couple of hiccups service wise (not attentiveness – timing of meals) because the food was absolutely amazing and it was obviously just an unlucky situation. Decor was nice. Location is probably too big for what it would be. I hope this place catches on and they invest in the operations here. My compliments to the chef!
