Ordered takeaway for delivery by phone on Thursday night. The woman taking our order told me about the set menu deal which made it such good value for money. We got poppadoms, 2x pakora, 2x curries and 2x rice (plus an extra naan not in the deal) delivered for just over £30. Plenty to feed 4 people. Quick delivery. The food was all hot and tasted great. We always get consistently good meals when we sit in or do takeaways from Apricot. Our go-to Indian in Dunfermline!

Wow, absolutely love this place, Nepalese and Indian restaurant. The design and furnishings are beautiful firstly, the staff are so nice but the food, well what can I say I had the scallop starter they were large, juicy, soft and the sauce was full of flavour and spices, Neil had the popadom and chutneys they were so tasty. Mains Neil had the garlic chilli chicken and it did not disappoint the flavours were so tasty, I had the Chicken kashmiri korma with nuts and fruits wow when I say its the best dish I have ever had from and Indians I truly mean that. My compliments to the chef who has owned this restaurant for 14 yrs and family are from the Gurkhas nice to listen to our waiter Dinesh on the history he was so pleasant. 10/10 for Apricot as for prices they are so reasonable just like prices from Indian takeaways in Glasgow only u get the comfort of sitting in a lovely designed restaurant with the attentiveness of the waiters and staff. ❤️ This will be our go to restaurant when we come through to Dunfermline for a wee night away ❤️❤️❤️

People do yourselves a big favour and ignore the previous two “reviews” on here for this fantastic restaurant.
I’d wager that neither of the reviewers have even been there. A) it’s a restaurant and not a hotel and B) the food is absolutely not reheated in a microwave.
Been going to Apricot, regularly, for many years now and have never once had a bad meal in there. Everything on the menu is fresh and very reasonably priced. Particularly good value are the lunch menus and Sunday Buffets, but even peak prices on a Saturday night are very good for the quality of the food on offer.
Drinks prices, too, are very fair and there is a huge selection available.
Sad that people feel the need to troll businesses with fake reviews, particularly at a time when the hospitality trade needs help from all of us.
Already looking forward to our next visit !

Apricot Indian restaurant has been, and remains, a supreme authentic Indian food experience. Dunfermline boasts many successful Indian restaurants, and my friends and I merrily agree that it deservedly takes the cake. We yet again had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious Indian meal, serving authentic Indian dishes alongside tremendous service. We will without a doubt be back on our next visit to dunfermline. Karen my Wife and I ordered yesterday.
I phoned the restaurant and the man on the phone so helpful friendly and just brilliant
He advised my wife and I roughly 30 mins to a hour I’m like that no problem
34 mins after ordering the door goes food delivery and the driver was absolutely fantastic so friendly with a big smile hope you enjoy your meal
So far I’m like so impressed I’m thinking is something going to go wrong?
Then onto the food as a lover of Indian food and as a 57 year old man it is thee best curry I have like ever tasted
I asked Karen my Wife what do you think ?
She really couldn’t answer as she was too busy licking her lips !and the food was piping hot !@
Thee best secret has just been discovered in our Kingdom of Fife what a curry what pakoras what garlic Nan
Absolutely outstanding so much so I would be proud and honoured to recommend these fantastic gorgeous people for the curry of the U.K

Just had the worst meal and experience in this dump. Waited an hour and half to be served cold uneditable rubish. Ive had bad currys in the past, but this tops the list! Then had the cheek to over charge us. The food is clearly precooked and frozen. Its microwaved reheated and nasty! Crap service ontop of it all. Ruined are annual catchup and meal.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I ordered mixed food with lamb and chicken burra, but the food had a very bad smell. It seemed like the meat was not fresh and everything was badly mixed together. Because of the bad odor, it was difficult to eat the food. This is unacceptable for a hotel. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

We booked early 3pm for valentine’s day
We had the whole restaurant to our selves
The atmosphere was still lovely and the staff were amazing
Free glass of champagne and a red rose each and took our photo for us❤️

Had the most beautiful dinner at this restaurant. They serve the best Indian – Nepali cuisines in all of Scotland I believe. Found this gem in the heart of Dunfermline accidentally.
The food was amazing and the service personnel especially the guy named ‘ Ali’ was super cool in giving us the most pleasant dining experience. We tried the Lamb biriyani and another Lamb dish ( leg of baby lamb with basmati rice ) which was exceptional.
He ( Ali) understood our taste buds and hence suggested the medium spicy versions of the dishes.
We’ll definitely go there again several times for their food and ten outta ten service experience. Love it ❤️
