Friday night 7pm, out on the town, looking for a wild Mexican fiesta for me and the boys. Place was empty, desolate, and awkwardly quiet.
Good food though, and they have cemitas which are hard to find around westchester. Overall 3.9. Margs are expensive, but they have Mexican themed salts. What a time to be alive!

Stopped by for an early dinner. The restaurant is clean, airy, and well decorated. Expansive menu. Service and food are always great. My go-to place for mexican food in the area.

I recently visited Los Abuelos Restaurant and had an amazing experience The food was absolutely delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine The flavors were vibrant and the portions were generous.
But what really made my experience stand out was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a vibrant decor that added to the overall ambiance I definitely recommend this restaurant

Delicious food, live music, and great atmosphere is what this place is about! We came as a party of 8 and were not disappointed, service was on point, food very tasty with a great variety of options on the menu and the drinks were delicious. A nice bonus was the Mariachi band who knew all the songs we asked them to play and were super cool too! Looking forward to returning and trying other things on the menu!

You get complimentary nachos and salsa upon arriving. We ordered Long Island Iced Tea and Malibu Beach breeze. Both of them were great.
My gf ordered chicken nachos and I got shrimp, beef and pork tacos which were amazing with the extra sauces that we were given.
Rice and beans were not that great but still a good experience overall. The service was superb!

While I haven’t tried all of their dishes I must say the few I did here were absolutely delicious! Made from scratch right there everytime. You can taste the freshness which is why the wait time is a bit on the long side but for me worth it. This is a family run place with few servers ( which are friendly) as the demand in take out as well is high. For me its worth the wait, for others it may not be especially if you are really hungry. The restaurant itself is pretty but can use some upgrading especially the chairs. Overall great drinks and food!! I will add more photos in time.

Mexican cuisine is a personal favorite. Yet, the experience shared at Los Abuelos Restaurant was disappointing. For instance, the service staff was unhelpful to my party. We sat for twenty minutes without having our drink request taken. There were negative interactions between 4 staff members. To begin, I looked onto another table being served. I locked eyes with the waiter, as to say: “we haven’t been served.” He left then a waitress came out to place a couple at their table. I told her out out that we have not been waited upon. After another several minutes, a waiter comes to take the couple’s order then ours. Mind you, we arrived first. The next offense was when the couple received their drinks, their order is correct. However, at outlr table, my sister’s lemonade is forgotten. I didn’t even take a sip of the water because the glass looked unclean. My sister’s glass had a crushed bug- see in the photos below. Another wait staff came outside to fiddle with a decoration that toppled over. When my sister clearly asked for his attention- he ignored her a few times before coming over. She asked again for her lemonade.
A different waiter came out to clean tables and my other sister asked for a to go cup. The plastic cup was much cleaner; yet, the water tasted poor. Admittedly, when the lemonade eventually came, it wasn’t poor in taste. By the time the food came out, I did not have high expectations. If the hospitality is lacking, then how good is the food? Los Abuelos provided mediocre rice and beans on the side. Further, the mole sauce lacks key ingredients: radishes and onions. The chicken was questionable and I was concerned that I would be sick. Luckily, I didn’t get a stomach ache. Unfortunately, for my sister who was the only one who ate her lettuce, she was sick for a total of three days after eating here. Overall, Los Abuelos does a disservice to their customers and the integrity of Mexican cuisine.

This place not only looks great and colorful, but the food and Micheladas / piña coladas are the bomb dot com.
Julio our bartender and server was very friendly and we could see he was happy to take care of us and everyone in the restaurant.
