We are a family business born from my kids love of daddy’s pie. “I don’t like other pie, daddy yours is the only one I will eat.” Perhaps that was what drove me to perfect the crust and make the filling more- fulfilling. People kept asking me to bake them something so I did and now my grandma’s recipes are enjoyed by more than just my family.

Looking for the world’s greatest key lime pie? Well, you found it!!!! Truly, Mike has managed to create the perfect key lime pie. It is so insanely good…The only downside is that you will never enjoy a key lime pie from somewhere else ever again We have also tried & loved the French silk, pumpkin, lemon ice box, apple pie, beef & ale….you really can’t go wrong. Gluten free options are a cherry on top. Very friendly staff and the owner Mike is a seriously great dude! Bake Share rules!!

My son Ben introduced me to Mike the “Pie Guy” at farmers market in Grayslake. I purchased the peach and branched out with chicken pot pie. You can literally taste the freshness. First time going today ive heard so much about this amazing pie shop! Michael is an amazingly sweet person! I’m so greatful to work so close! The pies are amazing! So far my top fav is the pear pie! It’s so sweet and savory! Because of the wonderful amount he has i couldn’t decide so I got alot of sample pies ! Can’t wait to show my family and friends how wonderful these pies are!! If you are in the area you NEED to check this place out! The price and the atmosphere ill be back very soon! Keep up the amazing job!!

I picked up two pies this week, a cold brew coffee pie and an apple one. Well, this cold brew coffee pie is now my favorite. Omg it’s delicious. My kids who don’t like coffee even liked it. Wowowow!! Although there haven’t been too many cookies and pies I didn’t like, I must say the sampling I bought from Bake Share were among the best! This past week I purchased peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, chocolate marshmallow cookies, a lemon blueberry pie, and a chocolate coffee pie. I was also gifted a chicken pot pie from a friend. I honestly couldn’t tell you which I loved the best! This bakery is top notch. Highly recommend.

I’m so happy to have Bakeshare in Grayslake. I’ve had several of Michael’s pies, but the Key Lime Pie is truly the best one I’ve had in my life. I’d also recommend the 3LB Cold Brew Pie, Banoffe and the Strawberry Sweetheart. His savory pies like the Chicken Pot Pie are great too!
