I’ve been a customer at East China for a long time, and they never disappoint. Their General Tao’s Chicken and Mongolian Beef are both amazing, flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the food consistently hits the spot. Highly recommend!

I came in around 12 PM for lunch because I was craving noodles and a beer. Service started off friendly, but things quickly became uncomfortable when I ordered a drink. I explained that I was using my passport because my state ID is currently being renewed, yet the server refused to accept it to verify my age. Instead, she repeatedly insisted I order something else because I “look really young.” I understand the importance of checking IDs, but being dismissed and pressured into ordering something else felt condescending and unnecessary. For context, I turn 22 in a few months.
I ended up ordering the Korean noodle bowl, and that was another disappointment. The meat, shrimp, and even the noodles did not taste fresh. Everything was bland and tasted reheated, almost like it had been microwaved. The strawberry boba I ordered (after being steered away from getting a beer) was also underwhelming.
Overall, the experience left me frustrated.

Friend took me to this place and it was fantastic. There were ton of delivery orders coming in. The waitress was super friendly and patient with me as I was indecisive. The food was absolutely delicious and the servings were huge. The spice level was perfect. I’ll be returning to try more items.

FANTASTIC Chinese restaurant. It’s not a large chain. Fresh ingredients and a very tasty menu. Staff is quick, efficient, and friendly. Portion sizes are correct, and tables and chairs are comfortable. It’s a nice place to spend lunch.

Great curry. Amazing creamy Thai tea. However i have to give this place a knock because our “server” was completely rushing us out of the restaurant. Barely got anytime today take this photo. Very rude and not hospitable. But the food is amazing no doubt about that. But I’ll just be ordering to go from now on.

I just moved to the area this week and wasn’t feeling making dinner. I’ve been wanting to try East China, and tonight was the night! I ordered pickup via Doordash, and while it took a little longer than I anticipated for it to be ready, it is DEFINITELY worth the wait!
My chicken pad Thai could ONLY be improved by being spicier (I’ll note that in my order next time). The Thai tea with brown sugar Boba is PERFECTION.

I ordered the Tom kah gai based on the photo that looks like the actual soup. Instead of the normal ingredients (and what is shows in the picture) it had squash and red and green bell peppers. There were no tomatoes, no lemon grass, no kafir lime leaves. The flavor was bland. So disappointing that they just decided to substitute a bunch of random ingredients that made the soup taste completely different.
