Quiet little space with AMAZING food! There’s additional seating upstairs but we dined at the tables on the ground level. The place is clean and cute. Fresh food that taste like it came from someone’s home kitchen. Everyone who came had their favorites and was willing to tell the world about it and after eating the Birria tacos I understand why! Filling portions and they dont skimp on the flavors- worth every penny!!!

I LOVE Nora and I’ve never even met her. Simply put, this place makes the best tacos I’ve ever had outside Southern California. I sought a place in Philly for great fish tacos and I found it. A home run in every way.

This is a gem in South Philly. We had tacos today but they have much more to offer. The service is great and the ordering process is so easy to use. The food and the atmosphere is very good indeed.

The food was not bad. I got the Nachos, and they had pretty much everything I wanted. I would have preferred pinto or refried beans over black beans, but I wanted to try as advertised. The location itself was very small, and the chairs are a bit restrictive to larger people such as myself, but the little place had charm. The staff were very nice and helpful, I just wished the food was a bit better. I think the chips were a bit stale and possibly from an old batch which is disappointing Would consider try again another time.

The food was sooooo good ! Seasoned to perfection . We order the shrimp tacos , birria tacos, Mexican rice and plantains.

Absolutely the best tacos I’ve ever had. Put together thoughtfully with care. Ordered 3 beef and 3 chicken; they gave me 2 forks as I’d this wasn’t all for me, and started with the beef taco – about as perfect as a taco as you can get. Was saving half for later but put 5 down in just a few blissful moments of food heaven.

I fell in love with the food here. Food is made so well. The spicy is hot. The sauces are fresh. Meat cooked well. Chorizos were crunchy on the outside and nice and moist on the inside. Now let’s go to the star of the show…the red beans and rice which is only 4.00 but you get a nice hefty amount and the beans don’t taste like they are out of a can but soft slow cooked with perfect rice…..yummy!! I got a to go side. Now it’s a smal smal place but head to this place immediately!!

Atmosphere: Nora’s is a fast food restaurant that serves Mexican Classics. The space inside the restaurant is very small – only a few tables and chairs, a front counter, and kiosks on the side counter for customers to input their orders. I went during the weekend when there was a street festival outside, so the restaurant was packed with customers waiting for their orders. They also have a small outdoor seating area for customer overflow.
Service: This was really quick – I ordered my food via the self-service kiosk and got my tacos after 15 minutes. As far as I could tell, you needed to wait until the person at the front yelled your name to know when your order was ready.
Food: I got three, jam-packed Birria Beef Tacos which came with two sauce sides and a few limes. Overall, the food was savory, flavorful, and filling! I had the save the two other tacos that I couldn’t finish in one sitting.
Tips: If you are waiting outside like me – after 15-minutes of putting in your order, check with the front counter to see if it’s ready. More than likely it is!

I’ve been patronizing this restaurant for a while now. They must have switched cooks. The conseme was never this dark and the food doesn’t taste as flavorful as it once did. Service is great, atmosphere is always clean. But the food definitely isn’t the same.
