The concept will probably be popular with 21-25 crowd but won’t survive in Nyack unless they have good food. You need the be able to draw the 25+ millennials, we’re all foodies and love craft cocktails. Ask the other restaurants that were in that spot they’ll tell you! The restaurant design is what I imagine a hipster’s dream would look like. I don’t think it really fits a real bbq place but that place is far from real bbq. The bbq itself is bland and what they serve as a $20 crabcake is deplorable. The bbq needs a better rub it’ll make up for the fact that is made in electric smoker. The crab cake, shouldn’t be a flat patty of mushy bread. It should include lump crab as well because I pulled that thing apart and was disappointed by the amount of breading was inside. The presentation was also terrible. I picked all the huge pieces of chopped lettuce and tomato off the sandwich. Also I was brought a side salad (I didn’t order) that was just more huge pieces of chopped up lettuce and tomato with tons of dressing already on it. The service was slow considering the fact that it was Monday night an hour before closing . It wasn’t busy either. At first we were the only ones there. Then about two of groups of people came. It’s was like 12 people at most. Neither the food runner or bartender/server ever came back to check in. We had to actually flag them down to get the Bill.

Love this place!! The food is always 10/10 – so nice to have a local BBQ place that’s authentic. The atmosphere is pretty family friendly during the day; I’ve taken my in-laws there for lunch. At night though, it gets super fun; such a great lounge! The staff is always really friendly too. It’s my new favorite place in town!

We popped in here for a drink on a Saturday afternoon. The place was empty other than one other group. The place is HUGE and very well laid out, with a super cool vibe. We ordered some drinks — I got the Porch Sipper which was refreshing and well made. I guess they only have a limited menu — so the Bartender told us. We were only there to drink.
The bathrooms downstairs were on the unattended side. The ladies room had two stalls completely out of TP (thank god I noticed before doing my biz!) and NO paper towels or any way to dry your hands. Given the lack of customers when we were there I would say the guy working was not on his game.
I guess I have mixed feelings about our brief visit. I could envision having a big party here, the space is amazing. I truly hope this place makes it.

I’ve been a couple times at different times and days. Ate the food when they first opened and it was pretty good but too expensive. Haven’t tried the food again. Went on a weekend during the day for just one cocktail with my girlfriend and they were both very bad drinks. I went with a group of friends on a Friday night and the place was packed. You get patted down and they search your bags. The bar service was the slowest I have ever seen at a bar and we left after 2 drinks. The music played most days is rap and hip hop for those interested.
TLDR: I don’t like the slow service, being patted down by security, and ambiance.

Ate here tonight for first time and the food was amazing …I ordered the brisket sandwich. Absolutely loved it and loved my drinks at the bar. We had the porch sitter drink. Fresh and delicious along with a friendly bartender and fun atmosphere. Definitely will go back and hope everyone supports this restaurant so they stay in Nyack as a wonderful new place.

Great place for the night life. First time there was not disappointed. I was happy that there was no drama or anything in particular with people, there was only fun. Really liked the place, the bartenders seem to be fun as they were also enjoying the moment and serving the people as well, which was great. Having said that the drinks themselves were not pricey. I recommend this place in Nayck to have a fun night.

security is very rude and suggested me and my group go to taco lounge? i want to say it’s same owners but i like going to woolworth where i always go and spend my money and have never caused any problems, your security guards are not a good look for your business. very rude , aggressive and there’s no need for that. clearly no professionalism or respect??? i had never had front door security of a bar tell me to go somewhere else when all i want to do is spend my money and have a good time apart from that the bar was half empty so I did not see what the issue was.

I love this place but the fact that ppl on bar were gettting their ordered before me after they waited for five mins while I waited for 25 mins was crazy. The bartender legit ignored me and I tip over 50 percent. You should have more bartenders in between the time u had five dollar drinks. Or get better bartenders… I would rlly love to give it another shot tho 🙁
