I am a little delayed on my review, however felt it important to still share. I had a great experience with Anna S. She was such a delight–kind, helpful, and funny. She left such an impressive impression on me as I left with a smile and look forward to coming back. It’s exceptional service like this that really stands out. Food is also fantastic and love the environment. It’s a great spot to invite coworkers and customers.

I live an hour and a half from this place, so I had never been before today, but I got breakfast this morning. WOW! The staff is made up of sweethearts and angels! I ordered kind of “off menu”, because I can’t eat egg, and they were very accommodating. Reasonably priced and the BEST bread I’ve ever had! I wish they sold it by the loaf If I didn’t live so far away, I’d be there everyday! I will be sure to go back everytime I’m in Covington now, that’s for sure!

Very good spot for breakfast or lunch. I’ve never had anything bad. Staff is friendly and the space is bright and cheerful. Clean and organized as well.

I was in town to visit family and needed a spot to have breakfast and do some work on my laptop. The menu looked amazing and I had a hard time choosing but the cashier gave me a great recommendation. The iced coffee was strong and delicious. My food came out surprisingly quickly— hot and fresh. Easily the best veggie omelette I’ve ever had. All the veggies were perfectly sautéed, not a single one was mushy (which is amazing because it had mushrooms and zucchini which are easy to overcook!). Huge portion, I ate half and took the rest home. Quiet enough for me to get some work done as well. All of the staff was very kind and helpful. Definitely one of my new go to spots when I’m in town!

I’ve been here 2x now. Passed the place 100s of times and have never stopped. Even have an acquaintance that works at the one in Mandeville and never stopped by….

Very sad bc the food I had here has been pretty good. I can see why it’s popular enough to have 2 restaurants in neighboring towns.

I’ve had the grilled fish bobo which is better than it has any right to be. The philly deluxe which was so good on my 1st visit that I also tried the ruben which was unfortunately just okay.

Plenty of seating in a rustic style setting , including outdoor seats. Great food at a great price espe if you want something more on the healthier *side

I walked in here and stood around for 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging me , it took for a customer to acknowledge me, the service here is poor. When i finally got to order one of the workers stared at me looking me up and down it was the most uncomfortable situation i have ever been in at a restaurant. They also took a hour just to make an egg bacon and cheese sandwich.

What a charming place to eat
I had one of their salads, which they have a few to choose from,& it was delicious..
The Lemon blueberry cheesecake was super moist & not overly sweet.
Huge portion & so fresh
The menu has something for everyone, also cocktails, coffees & desserts.
There’s indoor & outdoor dining.
Definitely will be back to try something else

I chose Coffee Rani because it is listed as dog-friendly on BringFido. Dogs are apparently allowed on the patio, but there is no system in place that actually accommodates customers who arrive with a dog.

I stepped inside briefly with my dog to place an order before returning outside and was told by a staff member in a confrontational manner that it was a health code violation. I asked if someone could take my order from the patio instead. The answer was no. I was then asked if someone else could hold my dog outside while I ordered. I did not have an appropriate person who could keep my dog outside.

When I asked what I was supposed to do — since I couldn’t be inside to order and couldn’t order from outside — no solution was offered.

If a restaurant is supposed to be dog friendly, there should be a workable process for patio guests with dogs. Otherwise, this is misleading.

Very disappointing experience.

This is such a cute restaurant downtown to visit. Brunch on a Sunday can get very packed so prepare to be patient and wait in line and watch for an open table to become available.

Totally worth the wait!!! The coffee is really good, the pastries are excellent. We ordered the Eggs Sardou, cheesy grits, Avacado toast, gluten free cinnamon toast. Everything was fantastic! The hollandaise was one of the best I’ve ever had. ✨️

I definitely want to go back and try more of the menu because so much of it sounds delicious!!

My favorites here are the curried chicken salad, summer fruit salad, and fig, apple, and Brie sandwich. Today I got the magazine salad and I was disappointed in the store-bought blue cheese dressing. My companion had the hamburger and said it was fantastic. This salad would have been excellent if it had homemade blue cheese dressing. The outdoor seating is nice and the atmosphere is charming in general.
