I love this Firehouse and I come here often & most of the staff is kind. However, every time I come here they always add mustard to my sandwich. I explicitly ask for it with no deli mustard. I have ordered on the app and at the register and each time it has had mustard. It gets annoying having to ask to have my sandwich remade every single time. This time, I didn’t even bother. I just wiped off all the condiments from my sandwich. It still tastes like mustard but it’s better than having to go up to the counter and ask them to remake my sandwich and get met with an attitude because they messed up. It is very clear on the tag that it says no mustard. They even highlighted it today.

I get that sometimes you get in the groove of making it and all that but when it happens every time and I come here 2-4x a month, it’s exhausting. Especially, when I have a) other sandwiches that are incorrect that need fixed and b) I am met with an attitude and a bad attitude because I am asking for what I paid for.

I might start driving out of my way to go to another location to be honest. Sucks too cause this is 5 minutes Vs 20-30. But if I get a correct sandwich and a non snarky attitude, it’ll be worth it.

Also, editing to add because this also frustrated me. My husband came in with me and in front of us was active duty navy (only knew because the employee asked him and then proceeded to talk about how he too was navy) and gave him a percentage off his order for military discount. Which is typically what my husband gets as well.
When he went up and presented his ID, the employee rudely asked “are you active?” And my husband said yes. Then the employee asked “what branch?” My husband replied Air Force. And the employee said “best I can do is a free drink.”
We were dining in that day and it was busy and I watched him give anyone else who was navy or marines a percent off their order but other service members got a free drink. That’s a bit rude and not okay in my opinion. It should be the same for all military. It shouldn’t be pick and choose. At any other Firehouse I have been to it wasn’t like that, they didn’t pick favorites. This is another reason we will likely go to another Firehouse in the future. I wouldn’t have even known if he wasn’t loudly telling people he was giving a discount or a free drink.

I place a order for lunch from here. The steak & cheese was poorly prepared…..I paid $28 and change for a whole sub, chips, cookie& bottle water. The only thing that was good was the chips, water & cookie. The steak was cheap tasting not cook enough. The sandwich bread was sloppy , soak from grease or whatever…..I was very disappointed in the quality, presentation& taste of this whole sub. This sandwich was not near worth the price that I was charge. If You going have expensive prices ….please let the taste / quality match. This was definitely not it at all. I have not ate at Firehouse Sub in a minute.I dont remember it being this bad in the past.Today my meal was a waste of money( horrible).I was not satisfied at all

Top notch experience at this Firehouse Subs location. Staff was friendly, greeting us upon entering business. Interior was clean and staff was out to wipe down a table quickly after a party left. Our order was promptly prepared just as we had ordered and was delicious. I always like to give a restaurant extra props when they have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine from which you get your beverage of choice just the way you like it and they appear to be standard equipment at all the Firehouse Subs that I’ve visited. If you find yourself in the area, you can’t go wrong with Firehouse Subs and this location did not disappoint on our visit. We will return.

Finally tried Firehouse subs! I signed up for their rewards a long time ago, but still never gave them a try. Again, I’m not the biggest fan of buying sandwiches, I can make that at home. But my husband wanted to try, so we did. I got a medium Turkey Bacon Ranch, and got my husband a Large Club on a Sub. Both of us were just okay with it. Mine was good, but I’ve had better overpriced sandwiches. My husband said the same exact thing I wouldn’t say they were bad sandwiches at all, we appreciated the food we got, but probably wouldn’t choose to go here again.

I have been to this location twice as a DoorDash driver and one specific employee was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful both times. The employee (a short, white, chubbier woman) was absolutely unprofessional the two times I have been to this location. During my first delivery, I approached her at the register regarding the DoorDash I was picking up because the employees behind the counter were making food. She just said “down there”, turned her back, and did not acknowledge me when I asked her if she was referring to the empty rack that was under the to go sign. The second time, she was just being unnecessarily rude and continued to ask me the same question after I answered her repeatedly. Another employee had to step in because her tone was becoming unnecessarily aggressive (this started because I asked another employee if I had to get the customer’s drink). I have never bought food from this location but these two experiences as a Dasher have made me certain that I will not be ordering food here.

Easily one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The manager messed up my sub and instead of fixing it, she doubled down and claimed it’s their “policy” to make subs hot with cheese unless told otherwise. When I calmly asked for it to be remade, she refused completely and didn’t even try to offer an alternative.

Her attitude was terrible from the start — rude, argumentative, and complaining about her job the entire time. What should have been a simple fix turned into a full-blown altercation because she refused to take responsibility for a mistake. If this is the kind of person being put in charge, it says a lot about how this location is run. Avoid this place.

Absolutely unacceptable service. The manager made our sub wrong and then flat-out refused to remake it. She claimed it was their “policy” to automatically make subs hot with cheese unless specified, and offered zero solution after I calmly asked for it to be corrected.

On top of that, she was rude, dismissive, and openly complained about her job while we were standing there. This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve had at any restaurant, especially from someone in a management role. Will not be returning

Staff here is extremely rude. I explained every single item that I wanted on my sub, and when I received it with the wrong items on it the short, chubby female manager (who is rude to everyone according to these reviews) refused to re make my sandwich and got extremely defensive and rude towards me. Never coming back here. Would rather drive 15 mins and support actual kind humans at the Hampton location.

I was very disappointed when this Firehouse Subs stopped using mozzarella cheese several weeks ago. Now I went in for a French Dip sandwich special, with Swiss cheese. The recipe for this sandwich on their main web site calls for Swiss cheese. I had Swiss cheese on this sandwich twice last week. Now this Firehouse Sub location that already banned mozzarella tells me that they will no longer carry Swiss cheese.

Well, that’s it. I am finished with Firehouse. You can’t run a sub shop if you keep getting rid of cheeses.

And save your replies, T. I can see that all of your other replies are just bloviating. You tell people you’ll look into this further. Then you don’t. You know that your reply can’t be further replied to. What did you “look into” for the guy who asked about mozzarella? You still don’t have mozzarella. Your shop is lazy. You don’t want as much to deal with. Very bad. I am spreading the word.
