Top-shelf steakhouse dressed in dark woods & perched over the casino floor at Seneca Niagara Hotel.

I recently had dinner with family and friends at Western Door Steakhouse, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a fancy yet relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
The staff was extremely helpful and attentive throughout the evening, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.
Now, let’s talk about the food absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese really hit the spot with its creamy, cheesy goodness and perfect texture. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully, tender and full of flavor, with a nice balance from the sauce and vegetables. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, and the cocktail was refreshing with the right amount of sweetness.
Overall, Western Door Steakhouse delivered on all fronts ambiance, service, and food. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a spot to enjoy a great meal with friends or family.

The Western Door is fine dining at its best in the Seneca Niagara Casino! The food is superb! Excellent cuts of meat well prepared and great seafood too. Appetizers are amazing as always! This is a great place to dine for a special occasion or before a show or event going on in the casino. The atmosphere is elegant yet at times I’ve seen some very casually dressed patrons stumbling in from the casino. It’s a mixed crowd. The service has always been very attentive. Prices are a bit higher than your average steakhouse but its to be expected at the casino. I’ve been very satisfied with every meal I’ve ever had there!

I have zero complaints about this place. The service was impeccable. Extremely attentive, consistent coming to the table to clear plates, get refills on drinks, give us new silverware each course. It was so nice to go out to eat and finally get amazing service!!! The food was very very good. We got the shrimp cocktail, wedge salad, crabcakes the ribeye, lobster Mac, asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everything tasted delicious. I normally don’t write too many reviews but I truly felt that the employees at this restaurant made the whole experience and deserved to be recognized. We had a young Asian gentleman (I don’t remember his name apologies for the description ) along side Cathy. Great team. Even the host was fantastic (also did not get his name but we came on a Saturday) – we were early for our reservation and he was able to seat us.

Went for late Valentine’s dinner. Antonio and Jimmy were attentive. Steaks were prepared well. Prices somewhat higher as sides a la carte. Most high end restaurants with high prices we enjoy include sides in smaller portions. Roasted carrots and potatoes were good. Ran out of baked potatoes. Atmosphere accomodates dressing up and jeans for gambling or going to the show. The shocker… You pay same price for menu, drinks and atmosphere as earlier dinner parties, it’s a shame the lights go bright and noise level cleaning as you dine spoils the experience! We called asked about the 9 pm reservation and were assured plenty time to 10:30-11. We were seated 8:40, just presented meals and by 9 40, boom lights and yelling across the room. No class. Won’t be going back. Watch your time

Very disappointing, especially for the price. I ordered the 20-ounce ribeye, but it was likely closer to 16 ounces, had poor marbling, and was not cooked anywhere near the requested temperature. My brother-in-law’s steak was also cooked incorrectly. When you’re paying $85 for a steak, you expect an $85 steak—this was a $40 steak at best, comparable to a chain restaurant.
They also forgot the butter, and the drinks were mediocre. My Old Fashioned used top-shelf liquor but was poorly prepared with a muddled maraschino cherry and orange slice instead of a proper orange peel.
Service was average, but when you’re spending $400 on dinner, average isn’t acceptable. Extremely overpriced for the quality. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

A local recommended this place. Tried to make online reservation for 6 or 7 pm. Tells me time is available and i put in name, email, phone and then it says time unavailable. Waited a few hours and finally was able to make reservation for 7:30. Arrive to find restaurant fairly empty. Get seated and waited a good 8 minutes before a waiter came over and apologized that there was a mix up (never said what). Order a glass of pinot noir. A glass of white wine arrives. Ordered prime rib medium for dinner. Came out perfect medium, but ice cold. Waiter took it back to kitchen. Returned a few minutes later saying they dipped it in au jus to warm it up. Barely warm and now more medium well. Side of lobster mac and cheese was tasty but also cold. Bill arrived and charged for 3 glasses of wine at different prices, but had only 2 glasses of the same wine. End to end horrible, although I’ll give waiter credit for being friendly.

My fiancée and I came to The Western Door to celebrate our engagement, and Jim and Antonio made the night unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, they were friendly, professional, and genuinely excited for us. They both knew the menu inside and out, offered great recommendations, and made sure our glasses were never empty — especially with the champagne!
To top it off, they surprised us with a dessert and candle to congratulate us, which was such a thoughtful touch. It turned a great dinner into a perfect celebration. Thank you, Jim and Antonio, for helping make one of the best nights of our lives even more special.

Went to the Western Door for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious! The prime rib special was perfect! I also had the crab cakes which were delightful different! (Love the crisp on the outside!) Lobster bisque and French onion soup was so flavorful! The view was pretty cool as well! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent time! We came to celebrate our anniversary. Our wait staff was great, even put up with us thinking our beignets were under cooked. We order the experience for two, which includes a bottle of wine, apps, entree with a side and dessert. The wait staff brought my fiance some tastings of the wine to make sure she liked it. Our steaks melted in our mouths, we also got the baked potato and asparagus which was enough to share (the baked potato was huge!). Plenty of time to enjoy ourselves in between the apps and entrees and desserts. Definitely will return.
My only issue is that we had to walk everywhere in the casino to find the place, there were literally no signs pointing to where the restaurant was as we walked in from 3rd Street at Sheraton Niagara Falls.
