Been eating here over 40 yrs. Pork sliced plate mild or pork BBQ sliced mild. Don’t skip the coleslaw. It’s the BBQ sauce and the coleslaw you come here for . Could just order the sauce and slaw and buns andskrbyoir own pot Boston butt to save money

It will b busy. Call ahead of you don’t wait s terribly long wait. But customers live to visit and talk about how long they have been coming to Craig’s and where they came from to get there.

Hey Ya’ll Hope everyone is enjoying the weather, if you are where fall is easing its way in, this weekend. We decided to take a drive yesterday on the bike to a spot a little closer to home. Craig’s BBQ has been around for quite some time, but I just recently started coming here, and it is a great find! The food is great, but the secret is the sauce that I have never tasted anywhere else! If you have time to take a drive to Devalls bluff, Arkansas, stop in here. You will not regret it.

OMG!!! I discovered this place back in 1964 when I was commuting to and from the town where I attended college Greg’s barbecue was the cream of the crop. I would stop every time I pass by just to have a barbecue sandwich of theirs. I went back today for nostalgia sake, and let me warn you. It is not the same. The barbecue did not taste good that vinegar sauce did not taste good. The slaw was not the same at all. It used to have chopped apples in it. In other words, today was my last visit to Craig‘s barbecue in DeVall’s Bluff Arkansas.

I finally drove out here to check out this highly rated bbq spot (according to my coworker). There’s only a few tables inside so I decided to get something to-go. I asked for a rib plate and the lady said they were out of ribs. The bbq beef was my backup but they were out of that too. So I reluctantly got a bbq pork sandwich with mild sauce and slaw on the side. The pork is sliced, not pulled and the sandwich is quite small. It was just under 6 bucks but felt like a snack sandwich.
As far as taste goes, it was just ok. I tried with and without slaw and it’s definitely a bit better with the slaw. But I am not a fan of their bbq sauce, which is quite vinegary. I’m sure some folks like it, but for me it’s a pass.
I have to add that I was a bit annoyed that they were out of 2 meats by 1:30, when they were open until 7 on that particular day. If the demand is that high they should prepare more. Just an opinion.

Great barbecue!!! The atmosphere was cozy, all the customers were talking with the other customers. Customer service was top notch!! Highly recommend!! There is one thing however….

Found this place after a long day of motorcycle riding. Absolutely loved the down home atmosphere! The food was simple but amazing! The BBQ was some of the best I’ve had. This place is proof that you don’t always need fancy furnishings or crazy ingredients to have a great restaurant. First time ever having coleslaw on BBQ, and I have to say it was fantastic and turned me into a convert! I would purposely go out of my way to stop in for a pulled pork sandwich!
