Took my wife here today for lunch. The food was amazing, we both had burgers; she had the California Burger and I had the Steakhouse Burger with Peppercorn Ranch. The burgers have 6 oz patties (very decent size). They also have 4 oz smash burgers which we did not try (available as a double also). The fries were delicious. The service was great. We just get water with our meals and the waitress was on top of refills. The restaurant was extremely clean. They also have a loyalty card which entitles you to 50% off your 10th purchase. The owner came out to check on us part way through our meal and was very pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Come to this fun little restaurant once a month. Has amazing food; the portions are absolutely massive and the prices are very reasonable definitely for the ammount of food you receive. Staff is extremely respectful and pleasant. They serve all three meals all day and have not had one i wouldn’t order again including some of the specials. Is always a nice quiet place to take the family to with a fun atmosphere at in the parking lot. I recommend and take friends here all the time.

Fish fry was excellent, I had the shrimp combo and it was superb. The waitstaff was wonderful and we met one of the owners and she was terrific. Highly recommend and you can count on us returning.

I have never left a review before and have never imagined leaving a one star review for anything, however, there is a first time for everything.
We went there for lunch today, Tuesday December 3rd around 1:20. Once we sat down, we waited a for little while for someone to come over to us and eventually, the manager/owner, told the waitress to “bring menus and silverware over to them.” Maybe it was the waitress’s first day.
We were the only table in the restaurant. We then let the waitress know that we were in a hurry and her response was, “this isn’t fast food, it’s a family diner.” I know that it’s not fast food, however we were just wanting to make her aware that we were on a time constraint. Eventually after bringing our hot tea, which was fine, we ordered a reuben sandwich and a BBQ chicken wrap. The reuben was the special of the day and the wrap was from the regular menu.
It took over 20 minutes to get our meals and we were the only customers in the restaurant.
The reuben sat under the heat-lamp for a while before the wrap was finished. When we got our meals, one slice of the bread on the reuben was extremely soggy/slimey and greasy. I have never had a reuben as terrible as that. The wrap was fine, but did not hold together well.
The waitress never came back to check on us, she never asked if we would like more hot water for our tea either; it seemed as though she was more concerned with getting her order of fries. The only time she came back to the table was when dropped off the check, even then she never asked how our meals were.
After we paid, she asked if we would like a bag for our to-go boxes. I was thankful for the bag, but she then licked her fingers to open the bag. I understand that people do that with their own plastic bags, but at work, it is unacceptable. She then put the boxes in the bag which would have been great customer service if it hadn’t been for the licked fingers. It wasn’t until we were walking out the door that she asked how our food was. We let know about the soggy/slimey bread.
The only positive aspect of our visit was the french fries, but fries alone aren’t enough to bring us back.
I would not recommend The Spot to anyone coming into Horicon. There are some nice restaurants in Horicon, but unfortunately, The Spot needs to work more on their customer service and sandwich skills to become one.

Great food. Great service. Only thing I wish was different was the size of the wonton wrapped mozzarella sticks otherwise amazing. Definitely will be back again.

4 out of 5 stars because the food was and always is great. We didn’t have to wait as long this time for our food and the service was great. My only complaint is that the portions aren’t very big. There great for older folks with a smaller appetite. I do think that maybe a 2 or 3 lumberjack meal options added to the menu would be great for those packing and appetite. Our kids loved there meals as well. I would love to see a few larger portion menu options.

The service was slow. We went around 2pm on a Saturday there were about maybe 6 tables of people when we got there and we waited about 45-50 min for our food to come out. We certainly weren’t expecting the long wait time especially for a hot dog, burger and grilled cheese. Our waitress you could tell was not having a good day/not very friendly and I dont recall her visiting the table other than for our drinks in the wait for our food. A few other customers complained about the wait while we were there too.
All in all I understand they are still fairly new and they may have some things to work through they are worth giving another shot. Just maybe expect a little wait time, consider it a place to slow down, enjoy the atmosphere and converse with the company you have.

My family and enjoyed a fantastic meal at The Spot. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the food came out piping hot and tasty. We ordered the chicken tenders and the fried bologna sandwich and both were delicious. My family and I will be back next time we are in the area.
