I had an outstanding experience at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit – Gillette Wyoming! The barbecue sandwich and fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time, and you can’t beat that classic big yellow cup.
Shannon at the register and Trevor preparing the food were both fantastic — friendly, professional, and happy to answer all of my questions with a smile. Their great attitudes truly made the visit even better.
Highly recommend this location to anyone in Gillette. Keep up the amazing work! BTW I’m from Kentucky and my BBQ standards are high. Thank you again for meeting the mark.

Our takeout was missing Texas Toast, BBQ Sauce and utensils. We used DoorDash. Excellent delivery!! Food was delivered hot to our hotel. Food was just okay. Disappointing. Brisket was good. Slaw was not fresh. Do better!

Decided to try it as I was passing through. I had the 2 meat plate w/okra & bbq beans. It was all really good. I’d be going on a regular basis if I lived here. The 2 employees I had contact with were very professional, friendly and easy to talk with.

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich with one side, but the cashier didn’t know how to ring it up so he just rang up a combo and overcharge me by two bucks.
Nice enough kid and his excuse the manager wasn’t there but that’s kind of BS. I was eventually refunded after the manager came back from a delivery.

To much playing in evenings.they dont seem to know how to take orders and nobody seems to know what is going on.trained staff should be on the line not kids.to much drama for a simple meal.and for what it cost it should be right every time dry meat is not bbq and food on floor is bad .the owner should really be surprising his shop .

This place is pretty decent for bbq not many options in Gillette for bbq so if you are in the mood this place will get you by. The god had good flavor portions are about right foot your buck. There is plenty of seating for larger tables and there is always someone cleaning when I go in. The food is made fresh daily. As I was leaving they was putting fresh brisket in the oven to cook over night so you are sure the food is fresh when it comes to the meats and that it’s not that pre frozen stuff some places try to use and get away with as being fresh. Hope this helps if you stop in let me know what you had and if it was any good.

My friends and I went there for lunch today. We ordered and received good food around noon. It was GREAT food! We all ordered the brisket, nice and tender, fatty, good brisket with a good rub. All was great!
After enjoying a great meal, I ordered a pound of brisket to go. Figured it’s a great deal because I don’t have a smoker and can’t make it myself.
I got it home and it was LEAN and the DRIEST brisket I’ve ever had! NO FAT, NO CRUST, just lean, dry brisket. Obviously, I did NOT get the same cut as when I ordered earlier.
I live an hour away, I’m not gonna take it back, but I’m NOT going to “enjoy” it either. Such a waste of $23 and what should have been great meat. Totally let down.

Made my order an hour early, sat in the “heater” and was cold when I came to pickup. Missing half of the things we paid for along with the wrong meats. Guy tells me he was going to throw it away because he didnt read the 6:00 pickup time. Should have, my remade order might have been correct then.
