I went in on Christmas Eve with my mom as I’m only home in Chicago rarely and always craving a good wing/tip combo and we were recommended this place.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted very warmly by the woman that owns it. She took our orders swiftly and while we waited I walked in astonishment as she ran that business like a well oiled machine. Very hands on from being in the front on the register to making food in the back. She was preparing a catering order and it smelled sooooo damn good. Me and my mom were practically drooling over the sweet potatoes. We had asked if we could order some but that night they were only preparing them for catering but had told us to give her a second to see if she had any leftover from her catering order. She gave us a sample of not only the sweet potatoes but also the green beans, both of which were DELICIOUS. The green beans were so good even my mom loved them (which is rare because lady is not big on veggies. That just tells you how good they were).
We ordered 2 wing/tip combos (rib tips) (and a side of yams) and they were delicious. Like to the point that we over stuffed ourselves eating them, but like… we just couldn’t stop. The kicker is that they were even good the next day, reheated. With owners with customer like that that cook like that???? This will definitely be my go to when I come home.

Take out only. Got a large tip. They were spot on. Tender with a bite. Sauce was tasty (got mild) and just enough fries. Put this on your list.

I would give this restaurant a higher rating if they would get rid of these nasty french fries. I don’t like battered french fries as it is, and then they have the nerve to add mild sauce on them as if that’s gonna make it better. The rib tips are good, but I think the large is overpriced.

Food was absolutely amazing, never been and trying to find a decent rib tip place around here is like slim to none. But I’m glad i got a chance to finally try it! I ordered a small link and tip combo with Mac and cheese, and got my mother a small tip with baked beans and ordered a potato salad. I never received my potato salad but hopefully they will let me pick it up another day after I called. But overall the link was amazing!!! The tips were just as good. Definitely will be back. They were all pleasant as well when I placed my order to picking up my order.

all out leadership got in touch with me to understand my issue. they were really apologetic and showed a genuine desire to fix the issue. after receiving a new order of pork hot links and rib tips, I was very impressed not only with the service but the quality and taste of the food. to my surprise I actually loved the rib tips better than the hot links. I will definitely support this restaraunt in the future
..finally a place than can replace ribs and soul.

One of the worst take out experiences I’ve ever had. We waited over an 1 hour for our order. They ran out of ribs and was told 20 more minutes which turn into another hour. This was our first and last visit. So disappointed. Please learn to respect your customers. We drove a 30 minutes to give this business a chance. But I refuse to pay for poor customer service.
