Some of the best Hawaiian food in Bend! Been coming here since I was a little kid, and despite some change, it’s still one of my favorite restaurants to get a casual dinner at!

What a disappointment…way too expensive ($25 w/drink) for some over-cooked dry chicken. So hard these days to find quality at a reasonable price – won’t find it here. I love Hawaiian mixed plates too but won’t do this again. Service was good with a basic a so-so atmosphere, pretty basic.

Almost perfect! I would have given 5 stars for the food except the chicken had black burnt marks that smelt bad but actually tasted okay. Hard to enjoy the meal when it has a rank smell to it though. I suggest cleaning the grill more often between batches to cut back on the weird smell and burnt meat carcinogens!
The service was awesome! Great staff!

I got the two entree mix it up plate. There was an upcharge for the bulgogi and kal-bi. While the food was good, I was pretty disappointed with the portion size. Paid $31.63 for food, bottle of soda, and 15% tip. Meat tasted great. The tiny scoop of mac salad was great. Not sure why it had to go in a separate box though. Even the four pieces steamed broccoli florets were good too. Overall, good meal but had to grab a snack after it.

This place is SO GOOD! my favorites are the kalua pork and the beef Bulgogi. The portion sizes are big. The picture below is a mini plate, because I cannot finish a normal plate. They have recently remodeled and I looks amazing. They also now have indoor seating. 100% recommend!

we ordered the fried mandu, chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and kalua pork and all were amazing. the mandu was so crispy and the sauce was delicious. we got the kalua pork cooked with cabbage and it was so good. the teriyaki and katsu sauce we’re both tasty and we had plenty, i hate when there isnt enough sauce, but this place was a great amount. the mac salad was pretty good too, and we were happy to enjoy a couple hawaiian sun drinks. we would definitely come back if we’re in the mood for hawaiian food!

The best Hawaiian style plates in the area. The loco moco and chicken katsu are awesome. The staff is so friendly and service is quick. There is lots of seating both inside and outside. My favorite in Bend.

A nice place to stop for
lunch in Bend with soup,
salad, and traditional
plates including Kalua
Pork.
The menu has a number
of healthy options for the
mixed plates including
salad, brown rice and
steamed broccoli.
I reviewed the menu and
ordered a Kalua Pork
Plate with a salad and
brown rice with a Hawaiian
Sun drink.
The salad arrived after a
short wait and the rest of
the order arrived about
ten minutes later.
The brown rice was moist
and had good taste.
The Kalua Pork was a little
dry and a mild taste to it.
Located in the Old Mill
District in Bend next to
the movie theater on
SW Powerhouse Drive.
Outdoor seating area
was a little full, but the
indoor space had plenty
of tables available.
A nice menu with the
option to have two three
items on a mixed plate
including Kali-Bi (short
ribs) and Spicy Chicken.
Friendly service, solid
food, and a number of
different menu options
make this a good choice
for lunch in Bend.
