I actually stumbled into this place completely by accident after I mixed up the date of a service for a friend—but wow, what a happy mistake! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and cozy, and the staff made me feel right at home.
I ordered the breakfast bowl and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. My server, Kelly, was outstanding! Super friendly, attentive, and just genuinely great at what she does. She made the whole experience even better.
If I lived in Manasquan, this would hands-down be one of my regular go-to spots. The menu has so many tempting options, but the garlic grilled cheese with avocado and those crispy shoestring fries… incredible. Total must-try!
So glad my little scheduling mix-up led me here—sometimes the best places are the ones you find by accident!

This was our first time at The Committed Pig and it was a great experience! We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of Valerie as our bartender. She had the best personality and truly made us feel welcome. She was very attentive and made the best drinks! We definitely will be coming back.

The servers seemed visibly emotional that we came in with less than an hour before closing (3 p.m. on Sundays). We didn’t realize they closed that early since there were still several tables seated outside on the street and on the upstairs deck- and since the hosts didn’t give us a heads up. We totally would have left if we knew they were closing that soon. Once an upstairs server informed us, we were immediately apologetic and placed our order as soon as we received our menus (which ironically took them a long time to bring over), but we were still made to feel very uncomfortable- with eye rolls, exasperated expressions, and generally poor attitudes. I understand that working a long, busy shift (until 3 p.m. lol) can be exhausting, and that the staff likely wanted to head home, but the restaurant was still open and we were just getting a tuna sandwich and a burger. It would have been nice not to feel like such an inconvenience or burden — or to have to apologize for simply dining there during business hours. Also, salt shaker was rusty, crusty, dusty with a white hair stuck to it. The bathroom was absolutely trashed. Shame because we really love the burgers here.

First time visit with the BF and a couple of our family members. We did make a reservation for a Sunday, but since it’s not busy season, there were definitely tables available. I’m sure as the season gets going proper, reservations would come in handy. The restaurant itself is super cute, nicely decorated. Beachside chic vibe, with booths, tables, nice bar with seating and I believe another level upstairs (which I regret not taking a look at). The young gentleman seeing to our table was very young and got our order right but forgot some small stuff. One of our party ordered coffee and he brought the coffee and mug (they serve it in a thermos and you can get a couple cups out of it), but forgot a spoon and milk. The food came out in good time and overall was very good. I had a croque madam, which i thoroughly enjoyed. Someone else ordered a brunchwich, which was delicious. Would like to come back for more!

I walked in last night with my family, I ran to the bathroom quickly before meeting them back at the table. I couldn’t even use it. They were so disgusting I did not feel comfortable. Did not like that I had to hold it my whole meal. Just to get back to the table, for that to be filthy as well. Do these people now have any cleaning regulations ? Imagine the kitchen? Gross gross gross. Avoid.

Becca our server was absolutely fantastic and was very helpful in choosing the deliciousness we had. Wow, the cinnamon French toast was out of this world and so were the pancakes. The bacon we requested well and it was perfectly cooked to perfection. We can’t wait to go back. Also a big thanks to the back staff knowing it doesn’t happen without them. Obviously this locations management is very much in touch with how things should be ran

If you love extravagant brunch options then this is for you! We love to try new places but don’t like feeling super heavy after eating. The group we were with enjoyed their food they got but my fiancé and I didn’t love ours. They also don’t have that many gluten free options, they have toast but they charge you $3 (which I think is insane since I literally have an allergy)

For five star review, this restaurant serves six stars and more!
Beginning with our waitress, Ariel, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was superb! We sampled the three of the toasts- the tomato, avocado, and ricotta topped with strawberries. One was better than the next! The salads were fresh, crispy, flavorable, and delicious. Then to top this all with the Brie melted (with figs) burger along with the sweet potato waffle fries which were all prepared to perfection. Our children enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes withe the generous addition of fresh fruit! All servings was plentiful! Couldn’t be happier ..made reservations ahead for the weekend! Great job chef and staff!
