It’s okay! If you like EVERYTHING fried tasting like fish.

I come here, on average, about once a year. I forget that A&W exists and I think to myself “Man, I’d really love a fresh Root Beer!” And occasionally the fried fish sounds like a fun time too. But every single time I eat here I feel very “bleh” before I’m even done eating. I don’t know what it is, I don’t think it’s a sanitation or quality of food issue. Maybe I don’t like fried fish as much as that once a year hankering thinks I do, and unfortunately that is something that is very hard to avoid here.

On my last visit I ordered strictly A&W menu items because I wasn’t really getting the fish vibe. I got some chicken fingers and fries, cheese curds, and a large, refreshing Root beer. I can’t confirm it, but I’m fairly certain that all of their fried food gets fried in the same oil, as everything had that hint of fish to it. I got that same pit of my stomach “bleh” feeling that I get after I eat here, and didn’t finish my meal. The Root Beer was great though!

Overall, if fish is your thing, and root beer is your thing, this place is probably a slam dunk for you, but for me I’ll be avoiding until me next big hankering for a root beer next year.

Manager and order taker at counter would not allow corporate website coupons based on non participation by them after we drove two hours to get food there based on coupon prices. Also I HATED having a employee wear a mask under her chin and clean the trash behind me, sweep under my table, and mop the floor along side me ALL WHILE I WAS EATING AND HAD NO MASK ON!! FIRE THESE PEOPLE PLEASE!! Bunch of inconsiderate azzholes!

Fish was better than what I was expecting. I think they battered dip the fish to order? Fries were fresh but still mediocre. Hush puppies were lousy.

Enjoyed the old-timey theme in dining room.

I was satisfied with portion of fish but it was a little greasy (cooking oil not hot enough?). Second piece was better after I squeezed some grease out of it with a napkin. But batter was way too salty for me.

Woman behind the counter (“Ashpatel” from receipt) was working her ___ off. Usually, only waitresses working for tips ever work that hard. It was a pleasure to watch someone work so hard.

Quick service and good food. Great place to get root beer floats and shakes. I love the retro vibes of the restaurant.

Cashier not friendly, she couldnt keep her eyes open, she kept repeating our order and the price kept going up. Food was over cooked, the best thing was the zero rootbeer, they can’t screw that up, and the 2 hush puppies were perfect but thats it..
Not a big fan

Fun place with great food and very nice staff. Not as cheap as somewhere like McDonalds, but the food is much higher quality while still being served in a timely manner. I tried the burger and fries with some chicken tenders, and they were all very good, especially the chicken was just the perfect crispness. None of it was very greasy or oily like you usually get from other places, and the root beer float was amazing, as were the milkshakes.

I love long John silver’s. Hands down my favorite fast food restaurant. This is my 2nd visit at this particular location. While the food is always good, the service is interesting. The guy that took my order in the drive thru was very good, but on both trips the person that took my card for payment and handed me food was interesting to say the least. They hand you your food and go on to whatever they are doing. You do not get a “here you go” a “thank you” nothing.

This is a bit slower than most long john silvers bit worth the wait. I been there quit a bit since I was young kid and now my kids do who are 11 and 6 and are especially happy when in drive through and get these 2 gentlemen who work so well hand to hand in sequence. I knowing and working f&b personally every job has its good and bad days. But the respect and welcoming features even in drive through is great.
