The food was filling, although it didn’t quite stand out. The citrusy glazed chicken rice and the teriyaki chicken rice had a bit more pronounced sweetness than I anticipated, and both were watery. The baos were an intriguing concept, particularly the cheeseburger flavor, but they could benefit from a more robust flavor profile. The service was adequate but nothing particularly noteworthy. Additionally, the dining area could use some attention to enhance the atmosphere.

As others have mentioned, this place gets 2 stars solely on the fast service, otherwise it’s quite disappointing. We got the citrus glazed chicken and jasmine rice combo w/bao and dumplings. For 2 people we paid $40, unfortunately we didn’t feel we got our value’s worth. The portions are small and the taste is underwhelming. The dumplings and the bao are somewhat of a saving grace, otherwise all other menu items should be avoided. The staff is friendly and efficient, but the food is not worth your time or money. Look to eat somewhere else.

I give it 2 stars due to fast service but otherwise the bowls are little to be desired. I got an orange chicken bowl with fried rice for $15+tax and could not even finish the meal. I expected to pay more for food in an airport but the moment I received this, the look of it was unappetizing and not worth the money. It looks like chili or dog food and was both too sweet and too salty. It seems people have better luck with the bao and dumplings so maybe try that if you choose to eat here. I won’t be going back. Might as well go to one of the other better known chains in the airport since the food will be standard.

There was no line and they accepted my airline meal voucher from my delayed flight. Service was fast and friendly but the food was overpriced and mediocre as you can expect from airport fast food. I got a couple of smallish buns and some dumplings, both of which were fine.

Big wow bao fan so I was thrilled to see one at my gate! Slightly abridged menu compared to the non airport locations but with the same delicious dumplings, baos, and rice bowls. Located at Washington Reagan (national) airport in the American Airlines concourse near gate 42. Staff was very friendly and they had plenty of nice counter seating for you to sit and enjoy your meal. Great spot!!

We were looking for something not too expensive and somewhat healthy at Reagan Airport so decided to get dumplings. We got steamed veggie dumplings and they came with a sauce as well as soy sauce. The sauces were too salty so we ditched them. The dumplings were ok – a little gummy and chewy with an average filling

This place is not for me..I ordered the curry chicken rice bowl along with some dumplings. The rice bowl was nice and hot and that was nice. Other than that and the sticky rice tasting really good. Nothing else was good about this rice bowl. The chicken was very limited, if you had a opportunity to eat some they were very small pieces. The flavor was off as well, nothing about this dish tasted like curry. There was more of a vinegar flavor to me. The dumplings was rubbery and not prepared the correct way.

Food: warm and comforting. They gave us an extra bao for the slow service, which was nice of them.
Service: they forgot that we ordered and we waited for over 20 minutes. Do not eat here if you are in a rush/time-constrained for your flight. If you want speedy service, I recommend Five Guys nearby.
Atmosphere: it was 6:30 am DCA, so it’s hard to judge that it’s quiet.

Tasty food. Not awesome but pretty good for an airport!

I had the teriyaki chicken bowl and two spicy Mongolian beef bao. Both featured a slightly sweet mixture of shredded meat. Nothing too amazing but it’s nice to get a break from salad, burgers, and pizza.

The staff seemed unusually friendly and upbeat. The food came quickly and lines were short, probably because things are cooked offsite and just reheated here.

Recently ordered lunch from here via Grubhub. Never had Bao buns before and loved them! Everything arrived warm and tasted great. I had the vegetable one and coconut custard one. I also had the vegetable pot stickers which also were very good. I’d definitely eat here again.
