My first time giving this place a try. We ordered fish/shrimp and chips & the 3 street taco combo. The carne asada tacos were good. However, there were only two small pieces of fish and 6 pieces of shrimp for $20! Definitely not worth the price and they do not have good flavor!

I visited Casa De Plata for the first time and loved it! The restaurant has plenty of space, a bar, and a small store inside. The staff was friendly, and my server was outstanding.
I ordered nachos, thinking it would be a small portion, but it turned out to be a big plate—and it was delicious!
I highly recommend trying this restaurant. I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been here before and the service was better. The owner used to approach me and it had a nice ambiance. I really wanted to give this place an extra star but I was disappointed. The environment is completely different, service wasn’t that great. The place was rather quiet and all we could hear, was the bar attendant’s gossip. The decor is one of my favorites, though; absolutely love it. The beer was flat and not super cold. The nachos were very good, though, as the ceviche.

The food was good. A bit of a different take on Mexican with a slightly different flavor. The family enjoyed the food and the service was very good. The margaritas tasted like an overly sweet mix that I personally didn’t enjoy, but that’s me. I will certainly be back if I am in the area.

Upon entering it seems more like a bar than a restaurant. In general most of the decor, background music, and lightning also screamed bar. I will say however that the waitress Teresa was very sweet and attentive. I also enjoyed the shrimp tacos I ordered. I come back for the service and the food but was not a fan of the ambience.

Overall, this place was okay. The inside is nice and clean. The service was good, but the taste in the food was not good. The rice and beans are not authentic. I got the mojara and ask them to make it Al mojo de ajo and I didn’t taste any garlic at all… which cost extra for them to make it like that. And I had to add some salt and pepper to it to add some flavor. I got the coconut shrimp and that was a little burnt. It wasn’t bad, it did taste good… but it had a little burnt taste to it. The drinks were good. The mango margarita was good!

Used to love coming here as the owner was real nice and they have a sushi special. My mom went to get take out and spent the better part of an hour, fifty minutes, waiting for four plates of sushi and a shrimp cocktail to go. She didn’t order anything that needed to be cooked. The pictures are exactly how we got our order. We didn’t move them around of switch any out. There isn’t even the same number of sushi in every box! The wait time was ridiculous and the number of sushi is significantly less than it used to be. Just sad that such a cool place came to be like this.

The only reason I cannot give them 5 stars is the time it took to get my food. It was very slow, but it still took 30 minutes to get my plate.
Now onto the good stuff. The food was so worth the wait. I had the Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas with rice and beans. Everything had so much flavor.
They also have a good happy hour here with great specials.
If you’re out on the westside of town, I would recommend this place to any of you out there.

Don’t Go for the food! It was so disgusting and disappointing. The waiters were awesome but this place should stick to there old bar. I’m so surprised they are still in business. The food does not look like the pictures it all tastes old and burn.
