Let’s get down to it. So I stayed away from this place for a long time because of mediocre reviews. That being said, we finally tried this spot and the food was cooked perfectly. Shot out to Chef Alex and our fantastic server Christina. She was excellent! Seems like the new owner(s) turned this place around from what a relative told me. The bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers are handcrafted with a nice cream cheese filling and dipping jam while cooked to perfection. My egg topped bacon cheese burger had a warm, pink inside with a flame grilled taste on the side. Love the onion rings as well. Once again, great job. The chicken and waffles had crispy chicken, was not dry and came with a side of soft butter and not those little single butter cups, which was a nice touch. This place did a great job and I was pleasantly surprised. We will definitely visit again.

The atmosphere has always been great here. It’s small enough for it to feel more personal and large enough to not feel cramped. The bar is very cool. The bartender, Amanda, was very sweet and super attentive. Some of the best service I’ve had in a long time! The food is always great. The chicken Alfredo is perfection.

My mother said, “Hey, let’s see what 4 for .99 cent wings are all about!!” Deeellliiiissshhh is an understatement to say the least!! Mouth watering tender bird and hearty potato skins where to die for!! We will definitely be back soon!! If yall could though, help us decide the ambiance explanation?? I say its a sports restaurant!! Whenever my son and I get together we often go to Shakers for the great wings and excellent service. Appreciate Aman taking care of us this evening. The staff always goes above and beyond to provide the best service and set the bar for how customers should be taken care. Aman you were awesome. Thanks for adding to the great experience for my son and I. Loves the food and always nice getting $2.00 domestic beers. You always have great specials and the environment is always relaxing and fun. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with this restaurant. I ordered a turkey salad, and the lettuce was clearly old while the avocado was so hard it wasn’t even edible. This wasn’t a small oversight, whoever prepared it would have easily noticed the avocado wasn’t suitable to serve, yet they still included it. That feels careless at best and, frankly, a disregard for the customer’s health.
I can overlook slow service or minor mistakes, but serving food in this condition is unacceptable. I even called the restaurant to give them a chance to make things right. The server took my name and number to pass along to the owner, but I never received a follow-up call. So just disappointing

We stopped at Shakers Good Eats & Ale for lunch. It was pretty busy for lunch but the service was still good. They had a special on Long Islands and I got one of their bowls of mashed potatoes and steak. It is a great combination and very tasty. They offer family dining and bar seating.

We’ve been coming here for years and have never had bad food. They have a good variety of choices and food always comes out quick, fresh and hot. Servers are always friendly and we love playing trivia. Their pulled pork fries and chicken and waffles are amazing.

Not wanting to get out this evening my wife and I were looking for something quick and inexpensive for dinner. We picked Shakers takeout.
Wednesday’s special is 99 cent wings, in multiples of four, as boneless or bone-in. That includes celery and ranch. We ordered:
Sweet Chili x 4
Garlic Parmesan x 4
Mild Buffalo x 4
Hot Buffalo x 4
Seasoned fries
The bartender who took our phone order was great— friendly, clear speaking, and answered all of my wife’s questions. They initially forgot to include ranch, but quickly rectified the situation when it was discovered.
Unfortunately the wings missed the mark. They weren’t bad, they were simply underwhelming.
They were decently sized, but the meat was a tad tough. The sauces helped in the flavor department, though I couldn’t discern a difference between the mild and hot buffalo. The ranch was really good, but the celery was so puny and old that my wife couldn’t successfully bite through it.
It helped that everything was only $23.
I like a lot of things about Shakers— they are nearby, they have later hours, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. They have a good looking menu and their service has been historically good. But the inconsistency in food quality and lack of finding anything ‘excellent’ means other options in the area will win out the next time I’m looking to dine near home.

The location is awesome. The service is friendly. The staff works hard. But the food is garbage. The food tastes like it was microwaved a week ago. It’s like a sports bar that cannot sports bar. It’s a pretty simple concept. Play sports, not music or games, and serve good food. I would rather order McDonald’s or Domino’s (in the same parking lot) and just order drinks. This place has potential but not management. It’s almost a place I would recommend – but the food is horrible. I have never been able to finish my food. The food is gross!!! How this place stays in business is beyond me. It’s mostly empty – but it sells alcohol. Saw a 40 year old birthday party there and felt really bad for the girl’s birthday. I would end relationships if they took me here to celebrate. Again, the bar is good enough and the service is friendly. Jc please sell this place to an owner who has an idea what this place could be. I would kill for a place like this close to my home that had good food. Did I mention the food was horrible?
