Found this place while visiting Iron Mountain. It was the perfect relaxing place to go to hang out. Live music was playing by the acoustic guitar player during our visit and he was very good. They have plenty of outdoor seating options including high-top tables and lounge style couches and chairs. The bartender on staff was great and super-friendly. She told us all about how this place is open year-round including winter and has heated igloos you can use when visiting to stay warm. They can be reserved or are open to multiple group uses. The drinks are delicious and have mocktail options available which I appreciate. They don’t serve food there but you can easily order from the restaurant below the bar and they will deliver to your table. Wish it were closer to us so we could visit more often. Highly recommend for a nice adult night out experience.

This place really is an amazing little spot. On top of that, Pauline, the bartender and Brandy, the owner went out of their way for me. Being from Ohio, I was up in Michigan on a fishing trip and stopped here for a quick drink on the way home. I left my wallet and didn’t realize it until I was three hours away. I immediately called the number online and Brandy the owner picked up the phone and already knew who I was and why I was calling and put me at ease that Pauline put my wallet in the safe. This was on Sunday and by Monday morning my wallet was already in the mail on the way back to me. I had quite a bit of cash in the wallet and of course, all of my cards and IDs… Everything was there!!!!! This seems like a very honest place, and the atmosphere is perfect for an afternoon listening to music We will definitely be stopping by next time we’re in the area.

The rooftop bar was beautiful. It had a gorgeous view. The drinks were refreshing. They have water with lemon to drink. They don’t have food but you can bring in food or have food delivered there.

Bartender was sweet The view is amazing You open air concept overlooking our mountain makes the atmosphere very unique to the area. Music playing chairs are comfortable seating areas for groups very adequate seating area outside heaters and gas fire pots or tables I guess placed in front of you something else to talk about not too loud and have communications no food was being served drinks were great

Last summer the First National Bank &Trust held an event to celebrate our 135 years. I was part of the internal planning committee and we chose the Sandstone Terrace Iron Mountain for our venue. It was perfect for our event! They had plenty of seating for our large group and the catered food and drinks were amazing. It was very cool to watch the sunset from the rooftop. Although our event ended before it got dark, I have had the opportunity to be up there with the lights on and it creates a wonderful setting for nighttime events.

I have attended multiple events on The Terrace and the vibe is super cool! The firepits, along with propane heaters are great for not only cool evenings in the UP but winter as well. At night when the lights are on it is so beautiful to look over the city! The staff is easy to work with and very accomodating. This is a great addition to downtown Iron Mountain!
