Went back to Old River Grill and had another great meal with our kiddo. The cinnamon roll French toast was a ten our daughter said. My wife had the Monterey chicken sandwich and she said it was delicious. I had the fish and chips and the batter on the fish was so good, the battered fries were amazing. This will be a regular spot for us to go to for great food and excellent service.

Just visited Old River Grill. Had somewhat of a split experience. My wife and I ordered the chilaquiles and raspberry lemon ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were amazing, the chilaquiles not so much. My advice, if you are going to offer a iconic cultural dish, dont half-ass it.

The food was phenomenal. There was absolutely no wait for a table. The waitress was lovely and very friendly. The restaurant is within walking distance from my house which is a major plus. Today was our first time here and we absolutely had a great experience overall. Food was delicious and full of flavor. The service was on point (server was Angelica). I ordered the Pastrami Burger and my wife got the Monterey Chicken Club. Both were very good, and the fries were really good as well (lightly battered and seasoned). We also got the mimosa flight, which was really nice and a good deal for $25. Our server was genuinely nice (not the over the top, fake friendliness), and checked on us regularly. I 100% recommend this locally owned/family owned restaurant.

The food was amazing it’s hard to find place where they have big breakfast now a days. Our server Shelby was friendly and welcoming. I had the country fried steak it filled me up. I’m a big boy and it’s hard to do that. Would definitely recommend.
