First, the service was good, but the time between the appetizers and main meal was a bit long for me. Also, even though the place wasn’t full, it was still quite loud. Now to the food. I had the crab soup and seafood linguine while my wife had the muscles and chicken. The soup was a 5, but here’s where things slide. While the flavor was good, I think there should have been more seafood in my pasta and I think linguine was the wrong choice. I would have preferred angel hair or capellini. My wife didn’t care for the sauce on the muscles, and she thought her chicken was overcooked. Also, another party at our table had the pork medallions and he thought they were also overcooked. So, for the price, I’d consider going somewhere else.

Sunday brunch was amazing! The seafood served over grits was fabulous and perfectly cooked. I enjoyed a peach Bellini as a cocktail which was fresh and light. The waitress was friendly and everything was clean and neat. I will definitely return.

Finally got to go try out the new Annapolitan restaurant tonight. Being an Annapolitan myself, I was so excited when they opened. It did not disappoint! The decor is very chic & classy. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Service was great.
For our entree, my friend and I ordered the Maryland Crab Cakes served with remoulade, shoestring French fries and fresh green beans. The crab cakes were delicious. Definitely full of jumbo lump crab meat carefully crafted without a lot of “filler.” Being a true Marylander, we know a good crab cake when we find one and this one was good!
For dessert we ordered the 10 layer Smith Island cake. I couldn’t believe they had this on the menu. It’s a legend on the Maryland Eastern Shore and The Annapolitan’s offering was delicious!
The ambience was so upscale and soothing. We didn’t get a chance to check out the bar area, but definitely plan on going back soon. If you’ve been wondering about this place, stop wondering and GO!!!! It’s a winner! Thanks to Joe & Stacy for bringing this wonderful place to North Augusta.

My friend and I had an exceptional dining experience at Annapolitan. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.
I ordered the crab cakes and was able to substitute the sides for mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts without any issue. The crab cakes were made with true lump, sweet crab meat—exactly as they should be—with no unnecessary fillers or excessive toppings. The mashed potatoes were creamy and perfectly prepared, and the Brussels sprouts were equally well done.
My friend ordered the ribeye, which was cooked medium as requested and served with green beans and macaroni and cheese. Each item was prepared to perfection and beautifully presented.
My mojito was devine—refreshing, with the perfect balance of mint, lime, light sweetness, fresh berries, and carbonation. My friend’s margarita was equally impressive, both visually appealing and excellent in taste.
What truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Everyone, from the manager to the owners’ family, made a point to check on us and ensure we were well taken care of. A special thank you to Zack for taking the time to share your background and the passion behind the restaurant. We sincerely appreciated the hospitality and the opportunity to relax and fully enjoy our evening.

Horrible service. The waiter never asked us if we wanted any drinks. Never had any bread brought to the table. Hostess stopped by our table to see if the waiter had ever stopped by. Had to ask the hostess for our check. The table directly next to us left after waiting for their waiter who never appeared. Definitely not a place that I plan to return to. I recommend the restaurant across the street. Great staff, great food and amazing atmosphere. Give them your well deserved business not this place.

I live in the neighborhood and was waiting for this new restaurant to work out any “opening kinks” that have previously been mentioned. We were welcomed with a smile and a friendly greeting. We opted to sit at the bar. The bartender didn’t know what green chartreuse is, so she couldn’t make my drink of choice. Their IPA selection is slim to none. The food was served way too fast. It seemed as though the food was prepared in advance and then reheated to order. The bang bang shrimp special app didn’t compare to the original bang bang shrimp at Bonefish, but it was tasty. I never thought I’d complain about too much bacon, but the brussels sprouts were half bacon/half brussels and the wedge was overwhelmed with bacon and not served with enough salad dressing. The scallops were not seared well, but the taste was on point. The slaw served with the scallops was delicious. The prices are high for the quality/portion size. Overall, I would give this restaurant a “nice try, but needs improvement”. I don’t see this restaurant becoming a neighborhood gem. I hope the restaurant does succeed, but attention to detail, execution and prices need to be taken into consideration.

A buddy of mine has ” high quality taste” with a history of being in the horse racing business and wanted to get ” a bite .” So I made sure to hunt down such a place and The Annapolitan fit the bill. I’m not going to take an hour on this one but I will make it very clear, the service was absolutely top of the line.Our server was very attentive and made sure to check every box. Absolutly excellent. The food sadly, I wasn’t impressed for the price. My salad was a grocery store head of lettuce cut into a quarter slice and laid on a plate with some ranch blue cheese and tomatoes. Bitter and unappealing unfortunately. The French onion soup was a little bland except the onions packed into the bottom. Otherwise appealing. I ordered the scallion , and shrimp risotto. The shrimp still had the tail on and unfortunately it just wasn’t for me. There was not much of a difference between boxed uncle bens and what I was served. The sauce had the flavor of mayonnaise and ketchup mixed into a 50/50. Overall , I was disappointed for the price tag but maybe i simply ordered someone that just wasn’t for me. The servers , greeters and manager made this a pleasurable experience even though I was not impressed with the food. I might give this place another try but it is unlikely.

Dined there last night & felt disappointed by the food. First, we had the burrata bruschetta to start & it was tasty. But things went downhill from there. I had the crab cake appetizer & strawberry salad in lieu of an entree because I wasn’t in the mood for any of the 4 entree options. They’d also run out of the pistachio/Parmesan panko that was described with the fish entree (we arrived around 6pm) so that made it less exciting. The crab cakes lacked freshness & had an off-putting crab flavor. They seemed microwaved as they lacked a crispy outer layer. The salad was very basic – I think having a house made salad dressing would have helped, instead of what seemed like store-bought balsamic vinaigrette. We did have a good service experience however. And the restaurant seems to have a lot of potential, but we expected much better food for the price.

I always look for the positive in my reviews instead of just focusing on the bad, so I will start with the good. The ambiance is very nice, the staff are friendly, and attentive. This restaurant is trying to be upscale but they are not. First thing I noticed was thin paper napkins. Need I say more about that? Now the food, the airline chicken was like chicken jerky. I choked it down but it was possibly the driest I’ve ever had. The green beans were not snipped. So I had to cut the stems off of the also over cooked, soggy beans. The scallops and shrimp were good. Risotto was decent but a bit undercooked. If the food was at least ok, I would give them another chance but unfortunately, it was bad enough that I don’t think I’ll be back.

I’ve been here a few times and have come to love this restaurant. This particular night I started with the escargot which were small and I had a spot of trouble get getting a couple out. The server was very helpful and fetched me a wooden hors d’oeuvre pick to fish them out. Success! For the entree I had Canard á L’orange. The duck was good but…..can’t quite put my finger on it. I think I need to give this dish another go. The food here is exceptional and the Old Fashions are to die for. This place is a must for any occasion, it’s not loud, staff are wonderful and attentive and the vibe is warm. I would love to see a Beef Wellie on the menu. I’ll keep you posted.
