I keep saying this, on the rox has the best fried shrimp!!! Better then every seafood place ive been to. Hands down!
Absolutely top tier ! Not to mention they make there own tartar sauce in house.

I live close by and I came here to check it out. This place is the perfect local bar. Ally the bartender set the vibe from the moment I sat down. Awesome service from ally. Food is so good. Try the fried shrimp. They make there own tarter sauce in house. Literally the best tarter sauce I ever had. Huge place good prices and food is good with good service cant beat that!

Was there earlier in the evening and came back to finish the night off expecting to order food and drinks. White guy with beard must have been the manager but he said we had been there earlier and were drunk. I had payed my previous tab and wasn’t in any way intoxicated, but be insisted I couldn’t walk to the restroom earlier that night which was a false statement. Nevertheless, he asked us to leave rudely and we of course complied and left . Good service but once it came to the management it was disrespectful and unprofessional. Definitely bad customer service from management

On the Rox is excellent. Inside is huge with two sides, smoking and non. Plenty of entertainment with darts, pool table, etc…
The food is what really sets them apart. The menu has an excellent variety. Seafood is excellent! The atmosphere is great too, went in on a Wednesday (Crawfish Night) and it was super busy. Even with the crowd the service was outstanding.
If your in the area you can beat On the Rox for great food and drinks!

6 stars because I fell on my face as soon as I stepped outside! I’ve never fallen especially after leaving a bar. They were not stingy with the liquor. The patrons were super nice and even bought drinks for me and my friend. Extremely spacious with two sides to the bar. There is a smoking and nonsmoking side.. thankfully. I will definitely return

Great aesthetics , great food & drinks …….BUT the bartenders / waitresses there make it feel like your walking on eggshells around them ..they always seem irritated..and stressed out, if there are more than 20 customers there forget it they won’t even bother taking your order ..I stood by the register for 15min to order and didn’t get no service,just walking right by no hello, how are you ,be right with you ,this happens often ..they pick and choose days they are happy and that sucks cause we’re just customers not having anything to do with whatever personal stuff they got at home that causes them to act this way …was last time for me very embarrassing to stand there like a idiot won’t ever go back .

Great place just to chill and watch the game or hang out with friends. They have a smoking side and non-smoking side. They also have a couple of pool tables. I had the wings, and they were huge and delicious. Overall had a great time.

Been coming here for years. Has the best daily lunch specials. Drinks are made to perfection. Great atmosphere, plays all types music. The food is always great. And the staff keeps it going. Shout out to Jason.

For starters I’ll share my experience from this tonight & this past Sunday .
Tonight I visited the Rox because it’s right in the area where I work , I read the reviews and decided to give this place a try. The food is pretty good especially their fired shrimp and crawfish tails also the tartar sauce!!
As for tonight 01/07/2025 My first server tonight attitude was complete trash! I didn’t catch her name , it’s probably best I didn’t… I asked her do you make a bomb lemon drop, she looks at my with this smug look as if what I asked was taboo! She vaguely answered my question , while looking as if she was The least bit interested in what I was asking… I ignored that, then proceed to tell her to make my Lemon drop sweet. She made it but it wasn’t good at all! I asked her could she make it sweeter again she huffed and gave me the same smug look as if I was bothering her. So at this point I said NEVER MIND!! Then she goes on to say I can remake it, still attitude on 10000… like hell no at this point I don’t want you serving me! So another one of your kind waitress, (Black girl) with the belly ring Intervenes and says I can make it for you, she did just that and it tasted as I expected it too, and with out attitude might I add. She should be the face of your bar and not the girl with the cross tattoo in the center of her neck, her attitude stinks as bad as she looked , maybe she should also lay off the liquor while on the clock too.
All while I’m sitting at the bar she’s sending condescending smirks, staring at me the whole nine! Luckily I wasn’t on that type of time tonight and didn’t feel like matching her energy . I get some people have bad days, however this wasn’t this case, I sat and watched her treat everyone else kind, and polite and provide customer service with a smile . Meanwhile I get the trashy attitude and for what??
Waitress from Sunday was a doll!! Wish I remembered her name, I sat at the bar and her customer service skills were amazing . I’d definitely revisit. The food is on point the music is good and the vibe is laid back.
