Songkran is one of my favorite restaurants in St. Albert because they serve truly authentic Thai food. Their tom yum soup is absolutely my go-to — it’s flavourful, fresh, and warming. I’ve been there for several occasions, and the food always impresses with its freshness and genuine taste. The portions are generous, yet the quality never drops. I highly recommend Songkran to anyone looking for a top-tier Thai dining experience.

We sat down at the restaurant, got her appetizer and got her food all within 25 minutes. We were quite pleasantly surprised that we got our food very quickly and it is not frozen food. It was very fresh dishes and appetizers. I really enjoy going to this place. I highly recommend this restaurant

My partner and I dined at Songkran for lunch yesterday with two friends. We ordered the green curry, pad thai tom yam, cashew nut stir fry and a curry listed on their specials board (I don’t recall the name, but it contained pork, pineapple and ginger). We also had mango sticky rice for dessert.
We were blown away by the food – it was authentic, flavorful, and filling. Everything we ordered was a 5/5. The Thai coffee and Thai iced tea were amazing too. Keep in mind that it is a bit on the sweeter side though.
The waitress had a cheerful personality and the service was extremely quick.
We would go back again in a heartbeat!

The food tastes authentic and yummy. The staff are friendly, respectful, and efficient. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. Great portions for the price too. Definitely recommend! Must try the Thai Tea, Onion Cake, and curry dishes!

Plates of Green Curry, Spicy Pineapple Curry & Pad Cha, each with Coconut Rice, plus a thai-coconut milk iced coffee. Absolutely delicious! Very reasonable prices, too. Less than $60 for 3 people. This place is underrated!

My first time here had me going back for more. From the Pad Sew Ew to the Red curry with coconut rice, I absolutely love it here. The last two times I have been disappointed in the coconut rice, it has been bottom of the pot brown throughout my dish. I have pictures but don’t want to post and leave this establishment on a bad note. But what I got was not something you serve and charge money for. The staff are nice and the atmosphere is cozy. I would definitely go back and hope I can change my rating to 5 stars in the mesr future.

Hidden gem. They had so many options, it was hard to chose. The categories on the menu were arranged nicely in appetizers, soups, salads, noodle and rice dishes.
The price with meat/seafood was at the bottom. The atmosphere was nicely decorated with a cozy vibe, little outdated but still nice.
The service was okay, not the greatest English speakers, but worth the visit because the authenticity of the food. They had cute Thai aluminum dishes.
We ordered the salad rolls to start, the peanut dipping sauce was amazing. As well as the pad Thai with seafood and chicken curry vegetables with a side of coconut rice.
They were reasonable portions and flavors were amazing. We had leftovers to bring home.

My hubby brought me in this restaurant for dinner and it was one of the best thai restaurant i have ever been. Authenticity of the food is there, the service is great. It is a very friendly atmosphere in there. It’s worth to try and maybe it will be your favourite restaurant too. The only dissapointment i had was the roasted duck curry because it only have a tiny pieces of duck in there.

Best Thai restaurant. Me and my husband love the food over here. I love their tofu pad Thai (with extra onions and spicy ), it is my all time favourite that no other restaurant can match. Chef Adam knows our order and a huge shoutout to him for cooking excellent food.
